18th Birthday .....

 It's Saturday Morning....January 31st.

Such an awesome day to celebrate a birthday!!

Today is Mylee Jo's 18th Birthday!!

We celebrated her last evening with a family dinner and this morning we are going out for brunch.....to celebrate her again!!

I laughed when I saw this candle.

"Your childhood has expired"

Mylee was super excited when she opened her new camera!!

Red Velvet cake was what she wanted for her cake!!

Every girl needs a new purse!!

Happy 18th Birthday to our youngest granddaughter.....Mylee Jo!!

And now.....
What did I do??

You were right Debby...

I went from Blonde highlights in my hair to medium brown.

I decided to go dark for my hair color and I do love it!!  I also had my hair girl cut almost 3 inches off and now my hair is shorter....

It's the simple things that makes me happy...

Love y'all
Shug...

  9. Happy Birthday to Mylee Jo! 18 is such a special birthday! And I wondered when I saw that picture of you yesterday if the hair color was what you did. It looks really good on you, my sweet friend. Hope you are staying warm. xx

  11. Happy and blessed birthday, Mylee Jo! You may not be a 'child' anymore, but never lose your childlike wonder as you grow older. That's what keeps you young. And I'd love that cake, too. Yum!
Love your hair color change, Shug. I used to get my hair highlighted but quit when the pandemic happened. Now, I'm just letting it be whatever color it chooses.
    Blessings to all!

  13. The cake is gorgeous, and so is everything else!! Mylee is so pretty, I still remember her as a little girl. A change of our hair can really cheer us up! I think you would look good in ANY color!

  14. I missed the guess, but kind of got it with the cut, just not short.. can we see the new look? I just this past week checked to see how long has it been since I took a selfie, and found it has been none in 2025 at all.. I am afraid to take one. Happy Birthday Mylee, and I am a tad jealous over the camera. I miss my DSLR, left now with only the cell phone. I agree with Ginny, you would look good in any color. Love all the decorations, the table is lovely. So is Mylee

  17. Happy Birthday to Mylee! I am lovin' all the Pink on here today, especially the pink glitter that's sprinkled on the table. And that red velvet cake! What a wonderful gift the camera was. She will have many years to play around with it. That candle is so delightful too. And a cute haircut for you, Shug. Yes, it's definitely the simple things that make us happy. : )
