Emoji Game and a Parade.

Good morning...thought I would post a cute decode Christmas Song Emoji Game..  Lets see how many everyone gets.

While you are working on these, let me tell you about mine and Trista's evening.

We attended our little town's Christmas Parade.  Okay, so.... before the parade even began, Trista and I were sitting, just waiting for the parade to start.  We were playing around with "Snap Chat" and making all kinds of crazy pictures of the two of us.

They were so cute!! Then we realized that we did not save them.  Only one got saved..... ↓↓↓↓↓↓

And here are a few of the parade pictures.

From the movie Home Alone...

There were about 30 decorated floats and lighted vehicles.  Not bad for a small country town Christmas Parade.  It was cold outside and the Christmas Spirit was all around.

Answer Key to the game:

BTW....there were a couple that I was bum-fuzzled about..    I found the emoji game on a facebook post.

Sending hugs and a cup of hot cocoa 🚂 to you this Sunday morning...

  1. Small town parades are the best! They are also some of the lamest as far as parades go, but that is part of the charm isn't it? A community coming together to do something festive?

  2. I much prefer the small town events (any more the big city events can be dangerous) and we have so many little towns sprinkled throughout my area with my town as the biggest. So many things to see, it's hard to pick and choose. I can't possibly go to all of them. It's nice you attended with your daughter. Looks like a festive evening! God bless, Shug.

  7. The game was really fun, though I did not get many. I have never heard of the four gifts thing. I think I will Google it. I am amazed at the shot of you and Trista!!! It is gorgeous! It looks professional and you both look so beautiful. It really should be your Christmas card, but then everyone else would feel left out! I am glad you will not have all the travel for Sam's treatments. I am still praying for him!

  8. I just looked up the "Four Gifts" thing and it was interesting. I copied it for you---

The Four Gifts Tradition simplifies holiday gift-giving by focusing on meaningful presents. This approach encourages giving four specific types of gifts:
Something they want: A desired item that brings joy.
Something they need: A practical gift that fulfills a necessity.
Something to wear: Clothing or accessories that are useful or stylish.
Something to read: Books that inspire or entertain.
This tradition aims to reduce the stress of holiday shopping while promoting appreciation for each gift.

  10. What a wonderful parade! Sometimes, it's the small town that manages to have the sweetest and most memorable ones, Shug. Loved that photo, too. Know I'll continue to pray for Sam and you!

  11. I only guessed one, the cookies and milk for Santa, not good at games. the RN that comes for home health for Bob, drives a jeep like the one in blue lights in the parade. she told us last week her husband was going to decorate her jeep and they were going to bein a parade here. all jeeps, a Christmas parade of jeeps. she said she grew up with her family doing a boat Christmas parade every year and her dad built her a giant dolphin to ride on the boat made out of Christmas lights and a friend stumbled on it in
someones old barn and told the man he wanted it to give to the daughter of the man who built it. they have it in their back yard as a decoration

  12. I do love a good parade and this one really looks awesome.
Failed on the contest. My thinking cap just wasn't on straight.
I do think that snapchat photo of you and Trista is a real winner.
Enjoy what's left of your Sunday.

  13. Love that impromptu greeting card! How could I have lived this long and not discovered SnapChat? (*head slap*)
IMHO, your parade sure beats anything by Macy's. Let's hear it for small town enthusiasm.
