Basketball and Clocks.

Today starts the "Last year" of HIGH School Basketball for Mylee...

Her team plays three games this morning with the first game beginning at 9:30

I thought these pictures were cute.

I think this is what they call TEAM BONDING...
School was out yesterday for the students, but the Basketball team had an early 6:45 practice.
The girls showed up....all dressed in costumes.

Silly girls...they even worked out in their cute attire.
They for sure dressed-up for Halloween!

Can you guess which character is Mylee?

If you guessed the overstuffed Santa, then you guessed right.

I'm glad to see that this team is having a good time...

⏰ ⏰ ⏰ ⏰ ⏰ ⏰ ⏰ ⏰

Y'all Don't forget.... it's that magical weekend when we all become

"Time Travelers"

Set your clocks back an hour.  The best thing about doing so is that we gain an hour of sleep. Of course, for several days, I will wake up feeling confused.

If you are like me .... it takes several days to get all the clocks in this house changed.

Wishing you all a smooth "Fall back" weekend.

Shug...

  2. Basketball is a great game. I played for my college, which isn't as grand as it sounds, since we had only just enough to make one team.

  3. Love that they got dressed up. Silly fun is the best kind of silly.

  4. I love this - so good to have fun together.
I just saw something that said - remember when you turn your clocks back tonight, turn the scale back 10 pounds too. :) I'm all for that plan!

  5. I must say that I detest the time change, backward or forward, as my body is on its own schedule/routine. Mylee and her teammates look so cute in their costumes, too, Shug. Blessings!

  6. Yay, I guessed right. Oh wow, it seems Mylee is living her best life ... so far. I love that first image so much!
Our dogs don't understand this time change business, so the extra hour won't mean much. (*sigh*)

  7. I really dislike time change..I don't see the purpose anymore and I definitely don't like it getting dark at 530! Have a great weekend!

  8. How Fun !!! I love the spirit of that team and your sweetheart made a great Santa. I can't imagine working out in those costumes ... so much fun.
I agree with you about getting all the clocks changed is a chore and readjusting my head to the time is a pain. Trouble is , for a while I will be waking up at the old time. Oh such problems ... haha ...
We only had 11 kiddos for Halloween. Rather sad but those that came were little guys and so much fun to see.

  9. Thanks for the reminder! I still can't think of a good reason to keep changing the time. I think more people do not want it than any reason. What a fun group!! I bet she will miss basketball. THREE games in ONE day!!! OY! And not only that, up early for practice before them. It makes me so tired just reading this that I need another cup of coffee. Of course, the older I get, the more things just sound undoable! I can't even remember when I had that much energy.

  10. I’m so glad she’s having a wonderful time. I wouldn’t want to set the time back 20 years, I would lose too much. Love and prayers always. ❤️

  11. I guessed Santa!!!!!!!!!! What a cute post. Would you go back twenty years if you could? I would have to think about it. Part of me yes, part of me no. Hard enough to go back one hour.

  12. I wouldn't want to go back twenty years. I'm right where I should be in God's plan. Thanks for the reminder on the Fall Back. California voted to get rid of it a few years ago but nothing came of it. It was an overwhelming majority too. Irritates me! Grrrrrrr!
Looks like the girls had fun.

  13. Thanks for the reminder about setting the clocks back an hour - I always forget about this til the last minute. I love that black and white picture of Mylee playing basketball. She looks so focused, and it's just an awesome photo. I hope Mylee's last year of high school basketball is fun, memorable, and magical.
