Thankful Thursday....
Joining: It's a Small Town Life
Today my heart is overflowing with gratitude for my husband, "My Heart Keeper"....(Sam)
I want to give a big ol' shoutout to our POP's ...the man who can fix anything, the one who always knows where I left my phone, and the very heart of our family.
Sam is the definition of kind and steady.....a loving husband, wonderful father, proud grandfather, and now an amazing great-grandfather. He's the man who can tell a story better than anyone.....He may add a few characters to the story or make a few twist and turns, but just know this....his stories are always so fun and exciting. Never boring!!!
I am thankful for the way he loves his family. I'm thankful for his sense of humor that can brighten the dullest day. I am thankful for his heart that's as big as TEXAS.
Life is the best with him .... even when he's got the TV remote and I'm stuck watching his shows...with the volume turned Up, Up, and UP ↑↑↑↑
This Thankful Thursday is all about my "HEART KEEPER"....he's my favorite guy, my partner in crime, my porch sittin' sweetheart.
Happy Birthday Sam!!
Everyone...enjoy your day!!!
Shug....💜

ReplyDeleteAwwww ... this is the Best post ever. I love that he is your Heart Keeper...he definitely is a Keeper !!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed right out loud when I read about the remote. That's the way we "watch tv" too.
Last night I watched an absolutely boring documentary as HE watched through his eyelids clutching the said remote. Sigh, maybe I learned something in spite of myself. (:0)

Same...I look over and Sam is half asleep. Sometimes I gently lean over and grab the remote...he usually never knows that I turned the volume down. lol
DeleteLove this tribute to your special guy! He is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteI laughed about the tv, remote and volume - same situation happens here.
Happy Birthday Sam!
Oh yes...it can be a bit testy sometimes... I can hear very well.(thank goodness) but the volume is way up when Sam watches TV.. YIKES
DeleteHappy Birthday to Sam! I've always loved that name. And he just looks kind. May Sam be endlessly blessed today and always. :) 🎉🎂🙏🏻
ReplyDeleteWe have so many Sams in the family...lol. My Sam is the III, named after his dad and grandfather. We have a niece named Samantha and we call her Sam, and then nephew in law named Sam. Christmas can get weird ..we have to make sure we have the names all correct.
