Okay y'all.....I got 18 out of 20. I'm sure I could get have gotten the others, but my eyes were tired. #10 and #19 .... I did not get!!
How about the rest of you? How many did you get on your own?
Here is the answer sheet ↓↓↓↓↓
Saturday: very cloudy all day long with the slightest drizzle of rain. Thank goodness for the clouds because although our temps only reached 87 degrees, it was very humid and a bit miserable.
Sam and I went in to town (the bigger city 10 miles from us) and did some shopping at Lowes. The electrician was here all day Thursday and will be here again on Monday. We are having NEW lighting installed is several rooms.
I needed to pick new fixtures for two of the rooms, which is why we made the trip to Lowes. Honestly, it never crossed my mind (until just lately) that even light fixtures go out of style! Who knew?
We even had new lights put in the garage. Wow!! what a huge difference it made. The kitchen, and bathrooms are finished, and then on Monday they will install new lighting in the bedrooms, hang a new fixture in the dining room, as well as the breakfast area.
Yikes... I'm thinking that with all the new lights, I might find a lot of dust that I had no idea was hanging around. The dust bunnies will be popping out for sure.
Hoping you all enjoy your beautiful blessings today!!

PS: Sam and I will be traveling to Dallas early Monday morning for his MRI and for more blood work. I will not be writing a blog post on Monday or Tuesday. Thank you all for your prayers.
I did get every one of the scrambled words, Shug, but it did take me a bit of time. I think it's because I play Jumble puzzles all the time. Know that both Sam and you are in my prayers. Safe travels and great medical reports!
ReplyDeleteOh, I didn't get a chance to do this, Shug. I love to do these scrambled words, lots of fun, and gets the mind going. But I'm visiting here before my coffee, the water's boiling on the stove, so I wouldn't be good at it until I had my coffee hehehe. You'll have to show us some of those light fixtures when they're all put in. My brother had many new bathroom and kitchen sink fixtures put in before I moved in. It makes all the difference, doesn't it? I hope all goes well with the appt Monday, and I'm saying a prayer right now. Take care, Shug, and please know you are loved here in blog land.

praying for your trip to Dallas and for the MRI ... you are doing the right thing updating because it keeps the value of your home going up and up not down like ours is. bob doesn't believe in updating, so now we live in a 1989 updated from 1972 and the value is about half of what it would be worth if updated. good job
ReplyDeleteHello, lovely friend. Prayers and love and all the good things as you and your man travel for the tests. Please know you are not alone!
ReplyDelete10 words correct only..... fun to know all answer.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend....
Some of those words were tough! Good luck tomorrow...safe travels and prayers for a successful visit.
ReplyDeleteLike Martha Jane I do Word Jumbles a lot, so I got them all. Prayers for Sam and his dad, and gobs of hugs for you all. Thank you so much for the updates.
ReplyDeletePrayers for Sam and for you! Travel safely:)
ReplyDeleteOH, your stunning header!!!! It is so gorgeous!! Lighting! Ever since all the different kind of bulbs came out, we get so confused! There used to be only incandescent and fluorescent. We never know what kind to buy, and often we get one with not enough light. I'm guessing you will not know the test results until mid or late week, but please let us know as soon as you find out. I have been praying that it will be nothing serious!
ReplyDeleteI am sure that the lights in my condo are out of style, but until they stop functioning they're good enough for me.
