A Warm Thankful Thursday.

Welcome to a Warm

Joining Michelle today

Fresh flowers make me smile!!!  They brighten more than our living room, they lift my spirit too.  Just this morning, as I reached to turn on the lamp, my view was these gorgeous Sunflowers and roses!!  Yes, I did buy them for myself this past weekend.  I think we deserve to buy ourselves flowers from time to time....Don't you?    The colors immediately spoke joy, without saying a word.

Another thing I am thankful for is

Isn't she a beauty?

We finally have some cooler temps, and I can now enjoy my New Hot Cocoa mug (outside) without breaking a sweat...
I love the tiny spoon that is tied to the handle with a striped ribbon..
YES!!  an early taste of the holidays for sure.

and you know what??  Our weather (right now) is saying, "Go ahead, add extra marshmallows....you have earned them."

  4. Oh yes - fresh flowers are the best. I like your mug too. I was admiring a pretty one the other day, but talked myself out of it. I don't drink many hot beverages and limited space to store them. But some are just so cute!

    1. Love me some fresh flowers... I don't really have the space for these cute Rae Dunn cups, but there are so many of them that I love. My daughter has one and she drinks sweet tea out of it...cold. Have a great day Mari

  5. Such a sweet post, Shug. I'm so happy that your temps are down enough now that you can actually enjoy drinking hot cocoa. It's my favorite treat...and yes, with marshmallows too. :) Sending hugs and prayers to you today.

  10. I have a similar bright red mug, only instead of saying "HOT COCOA, it's embossed with snowflakes. A jolly snowman sits atop the accompanying ceramic spoon. The mug never appeared in a Hallmark movie that I know of, but it did come from a Hallmark store! The grandgirls like to use it when they're here during the holidays.

  12. 100 percent on buying flowers for ourselves. LOVE that. I've done that too. Wishing you a spooky fun Halloween weekend with a great big side of boogie boogie.

  13. Oh, thank you for the reminder! Now I want some hot cocoa! I drink hot Ovaltine, and tonight seems like a good night for it! "tis the season! Haven't seen any Hallmark movies yet, but then, I rarely do get to watch them. Hubby's not a fan, and we have one tv, and I really don't care about them enough to sit through them by myself, so I just read instead. But that's just as good to me! So now, I must go make that Hot Cocoa before I forget! I don't think I have any Marshmallows, however. Oh well. Next time. Take care and God bless you all.

  18. Well, I just watched A Hot Cocoa Christmas, and it was a cute movie. I thought I'd mention it to you, so you could maybe watch it with your red cup, which is delightful, by the way. I'm glad you are getting some cooler weather now, Shug. Buying ourselves fresh flowers is always such a treat. Your "Thankful Thursday" posts always make my heart smile. I hope you have the best November days, Shug.
