Thinking today that I will just do this photo post. More of Colorado...Many of you have probably already seen these places, but I wanted to make sure I had them on my blog before I have a book printed.
The cobble Column.
Thought this was so neat.
You can read about it here.....→→→→
The flower baskets hanging all around town were absolutely gorgeous...We hiked to see the Troll....
"Isak Heartstone"
I posted about this when our kiddos visited him a couple months ago.
I did walk across the rocks in the stream...with Trista's help...
I was standing high up on the Royal Gorge bridge.....I zoomed in on the rafters floating down the river.... Another Birthday celebration for Trista...Her grandkids were so happy to surprise her with this birthday cookie...It was so good....
Love this photo of Pop-c (sam) and Tyler at the Garden of the Gods.
Not a video....
I learned how to play "Pickle Ball!"
My favorite thing of all.....
Seeing my kiddos just hanging out...
They were watching a video on Shanda's phone of some funny days when they were kids...
I took close to 200 pictures of this wonderful trip. I love being able to look back at all the memories we made...
Happy Wednesday Friends...
shug....
Hi Shug, your photos are beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Happy Birthday to Trista! I love to put my feet in water! Even though it is initially cold, it feels great and refreshing, especially in the heat! I love your background, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were able to make the trip. Thank you for the updates on Sam, and prayers for next week.
ReplyDeleteI hope and pray you do not get Covid too. And that Sam gets rid of it enough to have the tests he needs.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Trista - what a great time. Looks like so much fun.
I wish I could put my feet in that water.
I love your header and that color - awesome.
I loved seeing these photos of family joy and fun, Shug! Praying for Sam to get over Covid so the doctors can treat him in the ways that are best for him. Loved the photo of Sam and Tyler - precious!
ReplyDeleteOh the pictures are so nice and shows just how much fun you all were having together. Such a lovely family you have.
ReplyDeleteOh you made good memories for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love the Cobble Column! But I think my favorite is you, surrounded by the beautiful flowers and looking down at us.
ReplyDeleteHappy memories with the family. How very brave to climb those rocks. I would not dare.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your family, Shug.
Praying for Sam and for you all.
ReplyDeleteLovely memories made during your holiday.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well next week and you have the results you wish for.
The best of times! What beautiful pictures, Shug. Do you scrapbook? A lot of your pictures would be fun to scrapbook & put into an album. Maybe would give you an extra something to do, while at Sam's side as he rests. Still praying. Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove all your pictures. It makes me want to go there and see all this stuff in person. My daughter lived in Colorado for a short time and I had heard about the Garden of the Gods. I would love to see that.
ReplyDeleteYour Colorado photos are wonderful, Shug. The column of rocks is neat, and I've seen those Trolls before. I believe they have them displayed in different states. A cute picture of you up above with the hanging plant. That sure is a BIG hanging plant! That's a cool picture of the grandchildren climbing the rocks. And my favorite is your painted toenails in the cold Colorado water. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Shug.

What magnificent country! I especially love the one of you (bravely) stepping out onto those slippery rocks. (I tried that once in Sedona that resulted in me getting wet. Very wet, lol.)
