Bunny and Blooms

 A Bunny and some Blooms!

Yesterday, while visiting the farm, we spotted the cutest little rabbit. He/she was sitting beside the dirt road, enjoying a nice breakfast of weeds. He was not in a rush....just enjoying the morning.

Back at home, my zinnias are putting on quite the show. The cheerful blooms are throwing a garden party with all of their stunning blooms and I couldn't be happier.  I planted a few last year and they came back this year...  Woo hoo, big WIN ...... I had to snap a few photos of the vibrant colored petals as they really are making my heart smile.

The Disk florets, with it's bright yellow color, adds so much "Zing" to the beauty of the flower.

"Petals whisper in the breeze, Dancing with the swaying trees. Zinnias bloom in summer's song, Bright and cheerful all day long.

Each one painted by the skies, With hues that dazzle, charm and surprise. Natures brush, so wild and free....Leaves behind her masterpiece."

Shug.....

Wishing you all a Sunday that blooms gently, just like my gorgeous zinnias...

  1. I like your poem, it fits these flowers perfectly. LOVE the sweet bunny, we see a family of 3, but not all at one time on our morning sunrise walk. Saw the tall GUY several times, then the mama much smaller and last but not least a tiny little one that skedaddled back out of sight when he saw Beau, the parents paid us no mind at all and Beau did not even look at them. no photos phooey

  13. What a sweet bunny rabbit! We haven't seen too many where we live now, and I miss them. And your zinnias are lovely!! This is my first time growing zinnias and I am enjoying them, but I don't have as many colorful ones as you. I don't know if they are a different variety or how do you know what colors you will get when you plant them? But they are a nice variety and I am enjoying them. At least I haven't killed them yet! LOL.

  17. What a lovely flower. And the rabbit too. Because of the time lag between us I always read your posts one day late. Perhaps if you write them slower they will take longer to cross over to my side and I will read them at the same time that you write them. At least that's what my techie explained.

    God bless, Shug.

  18. I always enjoy seeing a rabbit visiting my yard. I try to be very quiet so as not to let them know I'm watching.
Your flowers are all so pretty.

  19. We have so many bunnies around here. I bet there are 20 or more on our property. Cottontail mostly, but we did see a couple of jackrabbits the other day too!

  21. What stunning colors swirling around in those flowers. I've always loved the zinnias. They look like sturdy little flowers. It must be such a thrill to see the flowers that you planted last year now coming alive this summer! And what a fun surprise to see that bunny when you visited the farm. Flowers are definitely the magic in our lives.
