Smile....😊 Smiles are FREE, contagious, and they Burn Calories!!
Todays Challenge? Smile at least 5 times.
That's it! No burpees, no meal prepping,
just simple, joyful grins.
Why? Because smiling is like a boomerang......you send one out, and (most of the time) it comes right back.
A smile can turn a grumpy stranger into a polite one, can confuse people who expect you to be stressed, and even make the barista give you extra whipped cream in your coffee.
Plus, smiling makes people wonder what you're up to. LOL 😁 It's like having your own little secret mission. "Wonder why she is smiling today?" "Does she know something I don't know?" "Did she WIN the lottery?"
Keep 'em guessing today.
I heard Sam laughing during the middle
of the night, in his sleep...He doesn't remember doing this.... another LOL 😂 for me this morning.
Go ahead.....flash your pearly whites today, even if they're fueled by caffeine and sheer determination. You never know whose day

I’m a smiley person and after the masks came off, I made it my mission to keep a resting smile on my face. You’re right. It’s contagious. I find grumpy looking people and I smile and their whole grumpy continence changes - and they’re beautiful. “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face," ❤️
ReplyDeleteI totally agree!! Also, nowadays with so many people getting angry and being grumpy over political issues, you never know how anyone will respond to you. But a smile gives us a big sigh of relief and cheers us up! What adorable marshmallows, a way to internalize smiles!

ReplyDeletethose are really SWEET smiles at the top, careful though, if you eat them they hide FAT in them. ha ha.. love that bowl of smiles.. you are right. nothing is cheaper and better than a smile. i lke to mile at strangers, and I have tried a few smiles while I am wearing my old 2020 masks to protect myself from the flu and other bugs... they smile back even when I am behind a mask, smiles show in your eyes if they are real. I have a framed photo of my parents, done at the church for the booklet. professional. they have big smiles on their face and I stood last week looking at the unsmiling eyes. it looks so fake, so when you smile smile all the way

ReplyDeleteOh, this is true, Shug. When we see someone smiling, it lifts our spirits. I've heard that saying before that smiling makes people wonder what you're up to. I think that's true. Love those smiling marshmallows, they're soooo cute. I have noticed that by smiling and talking with the cashiers and workers, they do go out of their way to give you extra time and goodies, especially if you say positive things and send a compliment their way. Your post DID make me smile today, Shug. Thank you!
