Hey, Hey, Hey.....Happy Thursday!
It's looking like a fabulous day ahead of us.
Things are a little "Yellow" outside, but I'm just gonna pretend it's "fairy dust."
This is just part of having a lovely Spring, I guess. The flowers are blooming and the birds are singing, and everything around our place now has a thick coating of yellow pollen.
It looks like mother nature decided to dip the entire neighborhood in powdered sunshine and let me tell you, we are sure glowing around here.
LOL...nothing says "Welcome Spring" quite like sneezing six times before you make it to your car.
For my "Try it Thursday" I am going to attempt this.....↓↓↓↓↓
Looks pretty simple......we shall see!!
Today....Hope for the BEST, Show KINDNESS, Feel ACCOMPLISHED, Be GRATEFUL, And.....NEVER GIVE UP!
Shug...🦋
You will have to show us when you are done with your project.
ReplyDeleteWe have a ton of fairy dust here too - I won't even wash the ar until it is over.
Love your quote - NEVER GIVE UP!
I love this and will give it a try in procreate... really cute.. we are in 3rd week of YELLOW not mellow for sure. I sneeze my head off each time I go out with the dog. it floats in the pool flies through the air with the greatest of ease/sneeze
ReplyDeleteUgh, allergies are the worst. We still have a little bit of time before they show up here. It's still cold and we have snow in the forecast. The forsythias have started to bloom though, so our sneezes aren't too far behind! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThose painted words are so lovely, Shug. The birds have been singing more around here too. I hope the pollen doesn't get to you too bad. Your "try it Thursday" posts are delightful. They are filled with inspiration and new things. Have a blessed day.

Oooops, I meant painted leaves. Was distracted before. ; )
DeleteWhat a neat craft to try, Shug! We have some pollen in the air and it's evident by the amount of sneezing we are doing, but it's all a part of spring. AND NEVER GIVE UP...be resilient. I'm on it. xx
ReplyDeleteWhen Spring shows up here, that fairy dust will also have me sneezing!
ReplyDeleteLove the butterflies - let us know how they turn out!
Yep! That golden fairy dust has settled thick in Georgia, too, Shug. It's like every single plant is blooming at once. Wow! Let us know how your project turns out. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day! ❤️
ReplyDeleteHow creative you are! After (almost) failing 4th grace art class, I've yet to publish any of my own so-called art -- but can applaud with vigor.
ReplyDeletePollen? No wonder they call Alabama the Yellowhammer State!
So do you use the leaf like a stamp? Paint one side then press it onto paper and remove? I can't wait to see how it worked!!! If it turns out well, you need to give us all instructions. This would be so cool to do with our granddaughters.
ReplyDeleteI have allergy fun too! Especially in the Spring and Fall - but the seasons bring so much joy it's worth it. Lol I LOVE this and can't wait to see how it goes. Such a neat idea with such a pretty result.
ReplyDeletePowdered sunshine, what a neat way of looking at it. I'll think of that next time I sneeze...lol
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun with the leaves.
lolololol on the sneeeeeeezes.
ReplyDeleteNeat art. Are those stickers? Love how bright they are.
I try new stuff all the time and today ... let's see. Oh, my new thing is the Cherry Chai - dairy free. VERY GOOD!
We don't have pollen until late May early June and we never enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOur big pollen period won't be here for several weeks. I'm not looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteThat powdered sunshine is wreaking havoc on me :)
ReplyDeleteWe've kind of already had the worst of our pollen season, thankfully. I sneezed and coughed my way through it, even with allergy meds. So glad it's gone. Spring has sprung all around us. Love the leaf painting idea, although I don't know if those are real leaves or what? I will wait and see. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week! Today is Friday already! Hooray!
