Thoughts for Good Living.

         "Blaming others."

The practice of constantly blaming others for our own discontentment....is harmful, and more so for the one who is doing the attacking.

We normally blame others....in order to make ourselves look good.  In my opinion....blaming others constitutes a very low self-esteem from the person who is pointing the finger at others.

Each of us are responsible for the choices we make and in the "Blaming Game".... chances are, that adverse fate will effect your own life.

If you are involved in a situation with other people,  and the picture clearly indicates that things are not turning out the way you thought they should.....then perhaps it is time to re-evaluate the happenings.

If everyone else is doing their part....then it must be time for  the one that is "blaming" to take another look at themselves!

It could, just be, that the one that is griping....is so wrapped up in their griping and complaining, that they fail to realize that they are actually the cause for all the pieces not fitting together as they should.

Just some thoughts for good living!

  1. That is one of our biggest modern problems, I think. Not taking responsibility for things and blaming others. I do not remember this happening as much in the fifties and sixties, do you think it is getting worse? We can just do anything we want if we can justify it enough. LOVE your header! You are The Header Queen!!

  3. Shug, I always come away from your blog with such positive vibes/words/feelings. Thank you, again, for the reminder of how important it is to look "inside" of yourself for what is really important in life!

  7. Good advice! You'd think those that are blaming others would eventually figure it out, but I know someone who is so entrenched in the "blame game" that I doubt he'll ever admit "I screwed up." Sad, really.
