Seems that Fall is still hanging around as well....No matter how many times the yard is cleaned....a few of the leaves find their way onto my porch!! This one is going to be stranded for a few days...at least, until the rain goes away!
Don't you know, that it's a "Cool"
thing to have Christmas lights in your back yard? Sam strung these on a wire for me and they surround a portion of our back yard. I liked them so much, that I decided to leave them up year round.
This bird bath sits outside our bedroom window and I so enjoy watching, not only the birds, but the squirrels as well....as they drink and play in this area.
This clover will more than likely be covered with ice before tomorrow morning!!
That's TEXAS weather for you!!
A daffodil bloom that needed a BATH.
Hmmm. I wonder how it got there?
Did some tiny little hands pick it?
Perhaps a squirrel pushed it into the rain puddle!?
Take time to notice the "Simple" things in life!!
Blessings,
shug ~
Hi Shug, Your pics are beautiful. Love the lights outside too and enjoy them year round.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is about the same as yours here in Flower Mound. We are heading into a winter storm today with freezing ice and bitter cold. Really crazy weather for us. So ready for spring.
That little daffodil is so pretty.
Thanks for stopping by while I was away.
Hugs, CM
I so love all your pictures, but especially your narrative. You have a delightful way with words.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, girlfriend.
Shug, these are some lovely photos. The winter storm is hitting us and I am tired of it! I suspect you are tired of the weather too! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing raindrops on leaves and twigs. I have Christmas lights around my deck and they stay there all year, because I like them.Hoe you get only rain and not the dreaded ice.
ReplyDeleteShug as I write this, the temps are filling at a fast pace, set to freeze tonight in the Hill Country with ice, etc. Ugh! Not good for the bradford pears that are already blooming.
ReplyDeleteI love the little fairy lights inside and outside. I always hate to put away Christmas things because I love the lights so much.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is changeable, too. One day it might be 50 and then the next it will drop down to the teens. Hurry Spring!
Beautiful!! =) Love all the little blessings you have appreciated and shared.
ReplyDeleteI love all these little glimpses of life around your home, especially the daffodil!! How sweet of Sam to string those lights for you. Hope the sleet/snow wasn't too bad.
