LIME.....on the rim of the glass.
It does not matter the season....here in the South, we drink Iced Tea...YEAR Round..
While traveling the back roads in deep South Texas....this past weekend....I found some folks who also MUST love lime...such as in the color LIME!
Lime House..Lime Shed...Lime wrought Iron!!
Sure caught my eye....
Thought this was a cute saying!!
Hope you enjoy your day...
I'm joining Good Fences

I have never seen that saying but it is worth remembering. Well that certainly is a LIME fence. I think they must have got a batch of that paint!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, a lime colored house and fence.. They must love the color lime..Great sighting and photos.. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI confess that I love the taste of lime in tea. But here in Canada, hot chocolate calls to me this time of year. ;))
ReplyDeleteGREAT photos, Shug!! I love lime in my tea, too! ;) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteThat is a little bit overboard with the lime on that house and fence but it sure is a day brightener! Love the quote about limes and smiles. Cute. :)
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are a little soar now from looking at that lime house and fence :)

Shug, a lime fence..who would have thought of it, let alone a lime colored house. I'm getting used to having lime in everything here in Texas...what happened to lemons?
ReplyDeleteLime is a beautiful colour, it is green, and I've got green everywhere.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! You see a lot of crazy colors here in Florida...of course I live in a lavender house so I better not say anything! hahaha! Enjoy your day sweet friend. SMILE!!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Shug, what a great post sweet friend. Love the lime fence and how unique. Easy to find I suppose just look for the lime fence.
ReplyDeleteI too drink iced tea all day long year round and of course with limes!!
What a special little verse too.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great day.

wow! that place makes me crave margaritas! :) thanks, shug!
ReplyDeleteoh that sure is an eye catcher!! i love iced tea, i like mine sweet, sweet tea, now that's what i'm talking about!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your header! The cactus with just a bit of the old rusted truck showing, very cool. I LOVE iced tea and am too lazy to make my own. I keep bottles of the bought kind, small bottles. But I have never thought of limes!! Are they better than lemons in tea? I love lime and am going to pick up some next time I go to the grocery store and try it. But I have to say, this house and fence, ewwww! For one thing, they need some contrast. Just make the trim lime or something. But not the whole house and the fence!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, someone loves the color lime! :) I love the cute quote and I love my iced tea, too.
ReplyDeleteHave a splendid day!
I love your fence in bright colour
ReplyDeleteI'm drinking sweet tea right now but it sort of looks like someone messed with the color on my iPad, everything is looking lime green.
ReplyDeleteWow that was some bright fencing. Lime Green, very unique indeed. I've never thought of putting lime in my tea, I like it in Coca-Cola though. That saying was fun.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of a slice of lime on an iced tea sounds good, but a green house? Now that's too much of it for me. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, gee I love it...I never would have thought I would but I do!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of the fence and the house!
ReplyDeleteLove the saying Shug, and the pretty pictures. And yes I am smiling, thank you :)
ReplyDeletep.s. my husband once bought some lime green pants years ago because they were on sale for $7.00. He couldn't understand why they disappeared so quickly. I fessed up years later, yes I did the dastardly deed. Actually I tattled on him to his mother - she too raised her eyebrows when she saw them - and she said don't worry, I'll take care of them. And well, I never did know what she did with them but it cemented a bond between us, lol.
I like the lime color but
ReplyDeletethat is a lot!
We drink tea here year round also.
M : )
What can a limey say other than excellent.
