1. The condition of a man's heart determines the acceptance of God's word.
2. We must guard our Salvation from appearing as if it is counterfeit. If we are truly saved...we will live our life in a way that exemplifies the "good soil" in the Parable of the Sower..
"Other seeds fell among thorn bushes, and the thorn bushes
grew higher and choked them out. But other seeds fell on
good soil and produced a crop, some 100, some 60, and
some 30 times what was sown. Let the person who has
ears listen."
