The TEST..

It's that time of the year......kids are taking their end of semester test.....

Tyler,  finished his college exams this past week....

And then comes the great anticipation of the grade that they will be given for all of their hard work during the past few months.

Life is full of TEST....Many different kinds of test!

Here I go thinking deep again......but, what if, at the end of each day, God expected us to turn over a written exam of our daily deeds.

I can't even begin to imagine how many RED marks would show up on my test!!  How many things would be circled?  What would my score be?

It would be my HOPES to pass everyday.....but, I know there are days when my kindness, my trust, my good deeds.....FAIL.

Imperfections, failures, weakness, transgressions....these are all part of our Earthly home.   However, just because these things do come with the bundle of our life here on Earth....it does not mean that we shouldn't try our best...every single day.....to make an A+ on every test!

God is so Gracious and full of Mercy.  His Mercies are new every morning!  For this, I am extremely grateful.

Warm Hugs...

  1. I like the way you wrote this.
I want to pass everyday, too.
I never have but I'll keep trying.

  2. Hi Shug!

I can't believe how fast the year has gone! Test time already!

I love your analogy of tests. I thank Jesus Christ everyday for His beautiful gift. Because of the Atonement, I can repent, and have the opportunity for a make-up test on the ones I flunked!

    Good to be back!

  3. Oh Shug..this is so true. I try to ask Him each day, to forgive me for any thing I might have said or done that was not pleasing to Him. (Which I know there always is!) And than try to do better tomorrow!

    Blessings to your day..

  4. Thankfully God is a forgiving teacher. Probably doesn't need a red marker.
    Hope everyone did well!

  5. Oh, I pray Jesus covers those red marks for all of us! Very good analogy. You have a very fun way of teaching and looking at things.
