What is that they say? Something like....."When it rains, it pours."
I've been hobbling around here for days...trying to get our home ready for the "Tour" this weekend! {cleaning is the only thing left to do}
My foot is really NOT acting very nice! I have been icing it and taking the ibuprofen like I'm suppose to be doing...but I guess it needs more rest!!
This is really not what I need at this time......to have a foot that is not working well. But.....I'm just gonna do my best to get through this. I've decided to make another call to the Doctor tomorrow, to see if I can go ahead and get the injection!!!! ouch!
Another thing that I didn't need right now was......Having to put my dad in the Hospital. The past few weeks, have been difficult for him, which is the reason that his doctor decided to admit him to the hospital and try to figure out which meds are working and which ones we need to do away with.
As difficult as the added stress is for me......I know that it is super hard for my dad. He really gets upset with change and new surroundings.
As I went on Facebook just a bit ago....I saw where my sweet Sam had posted the below list of "You Say" "God Say's" and the scriptures to go along with what God is saying!
God's word says that HE will direct my steps, Give me rest, Love me, Forgive me, Give me wisdom, Supply my needs, and HE will Never leave me!!
God does not give me a spirit of fear!! I can Trust God to help me even when the rain pours!!
Thank you Lord!!

I am so sorry about your foot, and it happened at such a bad time! I am recently out of wheelchair myself because my foot was broken, so I know what it is like! Please let us know what the doctor says and does. I will say a prayer for you tonight, one of discernment for the doctor and healing for you. Sleep tight, Shug, and leave it all in God's hands.
ReplyDeleteWe just have to remember that He is always there for us. Stay strong, Shug!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a lot on your plate, with the "tour',a sore foot and now Dad needing extra attention. I hope that your will rest when you need to and allow that foot to heal.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you in my prayers my friend. It does seem like everything happens at once and gets way too busy. I know your home will be beautiful. Take some photos to share! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeletecatching up reading here!
ReplyDeleteOuch! on the foot, nope, never heard of this foot ailment. Hope you get that pain controlled and it starts to heal.
Maybe the shot will help...
sorry to hear your dad is under the weather, glad to know that his doctor is on the ball and getting down to the heart of the matter.
as to the WORD... it is soothing like a salve. It goes into all the rough places, and let's God Work, doesn't it?
Hang in there Shug! prayers and blessings for you and yours.
I'm sorry about your sore foot and pray that it's much better now and that you had a good weekend! That's a great list Sam posted on FB.
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Love the list!
ReplyDeleteWe all can use it everyday, in someway or another.
Take care...your foot and dad.
Oh Honey.... I can truly say that I KNOW how you FEEL (even though my problem is knee and not foot). BUT---I don't have other things going on (like your Christmas tour and your Dad's problems). Bless your heart. I hope that "When Life brings lemons, you can make lemonade"... God Bless!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
