Contagious Attitudes

You..... Know......What??

Attitudes  are contagious and I'm guessing that anyone who catches mine is going to find themselves full of Happiness right now, ready and waiting for the season of Fall.

I am so excited to see all of the Fall decor, everywhere!

Pumpkins....apples....glitter Pumpkins.....
Fall place mats and napkins.....fixings for pumpkin pies...mums and pansies.....the color of Orange!

I'm telling you, All of these things make me  happy, happy and more happy!

I am one of those that gets extremely excited about such things as  Fairs, Fall festivals, and anything fun that is happening during this time of the year.

See what I'm talking about?  I'm guessing that just by reading too are ready for Fall.   I've probably made you hungry for Apply pie and perhaps a scoop of ice-cream to top it off.

Attitudes are contagious and it's so very important for us to make sure that people see plenty of happiness in us.

How about you?  do you like to dance?? to dance!!   It sure makes it easier to dance in the rain when we are connected to others who love doing the same....

YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE!   These are not the normal words that we hear when we have an attitude that is pleasing................ Usually, these words are spoken when one exhibits unfavorable expressions in themselves.

Have you ever been around some one who is grumpy and irritable?  This kind of attitude can sometimes cause us to want to lash back at those who act this way.

Before long, it becomes way too easy for us to unfold actions that are not pleasing and it can bring out the worst in us.

Our attitude can make us or break us!, let me make your day by sharing a delicious recipe with you!

1 cup vegetable oil                                           1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. baking soda                                           2 cups raw apple, chopped
2 cups granulated sugar                               1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup pecans, chopped

Caramel Frosting:

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1  1/2 to 2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.   Combine all cake ingredients in order given.  Mix well and bake in a greased, floured tube pan about 1 hour.  While cake is baking, start the frosting.  Cook and stir butter and sugar over low heat
until sugar melts.  Add milk.  Cool mixture, beat in powdered sugar and vanilla until frosting is smooth and thick enough to spread.  Frost cake when thoroughly cooled.

Happy day....

Hi Lady with the GREAT Attitude, I always enjoy your posts... I think we are alot alike except that you are MUCH more into family than I have ever been. My family is scattered all over the place --so we don't have the kind of relationship which your family has... BUT--our personalities are similar I think since I am also a very positive person --for the most part. BUT--that doesn't mean I'm not opinionated.... ha ha

I think personalities are just what they are.. Some people are just naturally more positive than others. I have two blog friends who don't know each other --but they both live fairly close to each other in a certain state. Anyhow--I love them both, but one of them is just so positive about life and the other one is not... Quite interesting to read their blog posts and compare...

Shug, I LOVE your beautiful candy corn decoration!! And guess what??? Just a few minutes ago, I had all different bags of it and dumped them into a pretty glass pumpkin, but I MIXED THEM ALL UP!!! WAH! Yours is so much prettier, maybe I will buy more and start over! I got a certain stores brand candy corn and it is NOT good like Brach's is! I LOVE decorating for fall but have no decorating talent, show me all YOURS and then I will get ideas. I can copy but not create!

Oh, such beautiful fall decorations, Shug!! There is something about fall that stirs the soul. You are so right about attitude... Sometimes we have no control over a circumstance in our lives... but, we always have control of our own attitude. blessings ~ tanna
