Psalm 118:29
Look what I found.....this morning, I walked outside and the very first thing I saw was this brilliant jonquil! It is no longer held captive to the silence of winter.....It's beauty sings of Hope for the soon coming Spring.
I am giving thanks.....to the Lord
For the small stuff in life that brings me
joy!
*******
speaking of joy.....I was thrilled this past week to
receive a very special gift in the mail....
Just a few weeks ago, I signed up to join Sue
over at countrypleasures.blogspot.com
for a Valentine Apron Swap.
I simply could not have had a more precious lady to be my partner.....Thank you Cheryl Larson!!
Cheryl is one talented lady.....my apron was gorgeous and her talents in sewing reached far above my expectations. She is definitely a great seamstress.
But, her talents do not stop there.....Let me just show you!!
Cheryl is also a gifted card maker.
My package was filled with all kinds of cute items, and I am very thankful for each one. Most of all, I am so proud to have been able to connect with Cheryl and to be able to call her my new friend!
Hugs Cheryl!
One last picture for you all to see......I love this picture and I love this guy!!!
He is the BEST.....
My deepest appreciation to all of you for stopping by to visit me today...
Blessings to all of you!!

I love your apron and your hubby in the apron - what a good sport. sandie
ReplyDeleteI sure love that last shot! Tell him that he wears it well.
ReplyDeleteIt is an adorable apron. You're right about that. I also love jonquils. They remind me of a skinny boy who made me fall in love with him oh so many years ago... He used to pick them for me.
Great picture of your Sweetie in the apron!!!!! Neat!
ReplyDeleteLove the Jonquil (Daffodil to some) also. Can't wait til spring gets here --and our Daffodils bloom here....
Hugs,
Betsy
