Spent part of the day watching grand kids play basketball and the other part of the day was spent with our oldest grandson Tyler and his precious girlfriend, Kelsey. We drove through the country and even stopped at an artesian well. We each drank from the well, and the water was soooo goood! It was clear and so cold....What a wonderful day it turned out to be!!
AS PROMISED......pictures of my remodeling projects!
The door to my new pantry.....please keep in mind that this
job has not been completed. Still have lot's to do!
One view of the pantry.....I can assure you, I am going to
LOVE this added space....
I replaced a wall of cabinets with this piece of furniture...
I love the look of the bead board that I had put on the wall behind this particular piece....
There will be a matching piece on the wall above! And...the bead board is going to have a clear coat color put on it, when all the wood work is done! Thankfully, I can move the furniture pieces out in order to paint.
This side of the room will also have the bead board on the walls......See, I told you that we still have much to do!!
As seen before, my completed tile floor.
Welcome to the family room......Almost put back together!
I am very pleased with the new flooring....Now I want to have my bedroom floor re-done in the wood flooring...
I moved a few things around from one side of the room to other....
Like....this cabinet
AND....
This cabinet!
This one was a little too big for me to handle on my own!!
So, there you go......We have gone from this...
to
THIS......and I am loving it!
Like I said, we still have a lot to do, but as stated earlier this week, I am learning to be patient!!
Hope you enjoyed my tour!
Shug
beautiful! It must feel good to have things getting back to normal. Love the floors!
ReplyDeleteLooking gorgeous, Shug! Love your pantry, have serious pantry envy!! You must be so delighted with everything, so beautiful. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove your floors, Shug. You've been busy! We still have our bathroom to finish as soon as the carpenter can get here. We put him off so he's gone on to other projects. It'll get done sometime!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the nice changes!
Love what you've done so far. What a cool pantry door; I like the frosted glass. It does seem a little weird looking at my bookcase in your house though, lol!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your prayers, uplifting posts, and faith! You are truly a woman of God.
Like Annemarie, I do LOVE that pantry. I would love to have one like that. Think you are going to thoroughly enjoy this remodel!
ReplyDeleteShug....you have such a beautiful home! I love it! I also must say that your pantry is awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I especially like the pantry. My wife wants something like that, but unfortunately we will need to move to a bigger house because we just don't have the room. Maybe in a year or two if were lucky.
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice when things get put back together :-). Better still when the environment is new. You are doing a wonderful job. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteGirl, you've been busier that a one armed paperhanger with jock itch swattin' flies!!!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!!! What a wonderful transformation. I'm just thrilled for ya. I for one know what hard work goes into remodelin'.
God bless and have yourself a awesome week!!!
