When I count my blessings, I most definitely count
my friends.......twice!
********
I am so thankful for friends.....and I am so thankful that God
has planted them in my heart. How sweet it is to have a friend who cares enough about you to step in and help, just when you feel helpless....
I am extremely Blessed to have such a friend....The other day, I received a message from my friend Susie....she extended to me an invitation for our Thanksgiving Dinner......This not only includes Sam and I, but.....this invite is extended to our entire family......
With a hand that is not working well and a kitchen that is torn to smithereens, our family is beyond thankful. Hugs Susie!!
You just can't go wrong with a feast like this.....

A couple of updates......
My hand is doing super well....This surgical procedure was due to what they call
"Trigger Finger." The doctor released the tendon and I now can move my thumb without it locking in place....Woo hoo!!
Thanks for all of your uplifting comments and Prayers.
The Kitchen is still a major project....
Materials and lumber should be here this next week....The flooring is ordered and should be here in about 3-6 days. I think I can see some good progress on it's way!!
...........................
Here's to wishing you all a very delightful day...
Blessings,
Shug ~

ReplyDeleteI am so glad your hand is on the mend and that is truly a friend to invite you all. Love friends like that. Wow I can't wait to see your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteCounting your friends twice means you sure do have a lot of blessings Shug because you have a lot of friends.
ReplyDeleteHey my husband has trigger finger - his internist didn't mention that there was surgery for it - was it worth it?
Thanks.

ReplyDeleteHi Shug!
ReplyDeleteFriends are truly a treasure, beyond measure! Your friend will be blessed by having your family with them this year... :0)

How exciting the new kitchen is!!! Just seeing the materials come in, following the progress...I remember when we did ours about ten years ago. We had to live with the fridge in the living room. So you will be going to your friend's house for Thanksgiving?? How WONDERFUL!!! She is so sweet and caring to invite all of you!
ReplyDeleteI love my friends and I include you all my dearest blog friends as I'm with you practicaly every day. How wonderful to go to your dear friend for Thanksgiving, we're going to our friend Lesly's home too, she's American like me, so she's making it now, she's such a cook. Hope your finger is getting better, any bother in a hand it's a big problem. Happy weekend.

True friends are the best.
ReplyDeleteHope your hand continues to heal quickly!
Shug, I'm so glad you will be able to go and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner so that your hand can continue to rest. You are indeed a blessed lady. Our oven is on the fritz and whaddya know? We received an invitation that included my son! He is super excited because with our family spread all over creation he thought there would be no celebration at all this year. Thank God for people that sense a need and try to fill it. Hope you have a great week!
