Finding STRENGTH.....Where does our strength come from??
THE LORD!
One of my very dear friends passed away yesterday and I know that her family needs strength in this time of sorrow.....She was a lady of great character and her name was carved in the hearts of those she knew, those she loved and the many, many people that she was always reaching out to.
She was one of those ladies that would make you laugh and make you cry at the same time. There were many times that she and I would visit and before we knew it, we would be doubled over in laughter.....to the point that both of us might could have used a "Depends."
If it wasn't a "Depends" that we needed, then it was a box of tissues....We had so many similar stories to tell and our personalities connected so well....She understood me, and I understood her, which sometimes led us to reach for that box of tissues, because of the tears that we shared....
I will miss this dear friend, and just because she is no longer here on this earth, does not mean that her story has come to an end!! NO......she is rejoicing in Heaven at this very moment.......She is resting in the arms of God.
Please be in prayer for this family....I pray that out of His glorious riches, He will strengthen this family and bring comfort to their hearts...
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
Sweet Blessings today......Enjoy your weekend...
Shug.....
I am so sorry, Shug, I will pray for the family. I know what you mean, my best friend is just like me, we are like sisters, and her ovarian cancer has returned. I know your friend will be missed so much by everyone, and that is so hard.
ReplyDeletethat was just beautiful,,
ReplyDeleteShe, her family and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet comfort to know that loved ones are rejoicing in Heaven. I pray that this family will latch onto that thought and let God cary them through this lonely time.
ReplyDeleteMy heartfelt sympathy to you and the family as you go through this time of grief. May the Lord bring a warm comfort to each heart and let them feel His love in a supernatural way!
