Are you ready for some Football?
The time has finally come and I am sooooo
excited! Our oldest grandson (who is a Sophomore) made the Varsity
football team and I am so very proud of him..
#7......I have got to get my game shirt made.
You know.....a shirt that supports the bears, but
has the #7 on the back of it....so everyone knows I'm his Shug...
Of course......It has to be all glittered up!!
This is one of the "Penny" guys....(Twins)
sorry Micheal or Mitchell....never can tell you apart!!
Have you ever heard the saying..
"I'm So Proud?"
Mrs. Penny always totes a sign that says "I'm so Proud." You can always count on her sign being at every single athletic event in support of the BEARS!
I just love seeing these young kids rallying together in support of their school and the football team.....
Let me take just a moment to introduce you to our new "Athletic Director" .....our son-in-law, Coach Ty Thomison....
I appreciate him, not only because he is a wonderful husband to our daughter and a wonderful dad to our grandchildren, but also because he is an outstanding Christian man.
I am very proud of him! His standards of living as a christian are carried over into his job. His athletic program is great and the kids know what he expects not only in the sports that they play, but in their character as well.....
Here are a few of the Bear supporters.....Shanda, Mylee, and Trey.
Tori and Trista....
My precious cousin Amy, along with her two
girls, Allie and Bradie.
GO BEARS....Go # 7
Guess you know were you can find me on Friday nights.
Have a Blessed Friday!

Your own Friday Night Lights show. I never watched it but my friend was addicted. How awesome that you are all so involved like that. Love it!! And yes I am ready for some football. Steelers won last night!!
ReplyDeleteHi shug!
ReplyDeleteI love football!! Isn't it fun to go and cheer for your kids?! My grandson is only 12 years old, but he's also 5'8" and weighs about 160, so his coach loves him!
Your grands are so cute, and they look just like you, I could pick them out in a crowd!!
Hugs,
Barb
GO #7...YAY !!
ReplyDeleteYou are gonna have a great time. Our football player graduated 3 yrs ago so no football for us..around here it's BASKETBALL...we have 4 grandgirls playing this year..so you can know for sure that I am going to have a flat nose from running into my butt all season. We will be going one place for a game, and to another, for another game, all season long.
FUN FUN FUN...
AIN'T LIFE GRAND !!!

I know how proud of him you are, but he should be VERY proud of his Shug!! How many grandmothers would go to every game and get a special shirt made up??? You go, girl!!!
ReplyDeleteYour grandson is handsome and I would say you are all ready for football!

ReplyDeleteOh, Shug! There is nothing like Friday night football in Texas! I've been worried about them practicing in this heat!! It's been a long time since I've had one to go watch, but I still love to hear about it... and, occasionally have to go see a game even without one of my own out there. Yea, for the Bears! blessings ~ tanna
