A Powerful Eight Letter Word!

The word "Patience".....an eight letter word that packs a powerful punch.

It is almost as if this is a word that needs to be feared!  How often have you heard.."Oh, don't pray for patience"....."Because you will be tested!"

I have heard this so many times!!

The real truth is that we can actually "BENEFIT" from having or giving patience..

When we make a conscious effort to develop patience, we are protecting ourselves from undue stress in our lives...

Another way to look at it is that PATIENCE....is the greatest gift that we can give to others....

When we show patience to others, we are sending a message of kindness and respect....

ALL IT TAKES IS A LITTLE
EFFORT ON OUR PART....

IN EVERY ACT OF KINDNESS, THERE IS A SEED OF PATIENCE....Which = LOVE!

Let us all practice a little Patience today!

Sweet Blessings,

Shug ~

  2. Oh My Goodness----that's my WORD.... I am never patient about much of anything. I have worked hard at it--with God's help, but it's VERY hard...

    Thanks for sharing..

  3. Wonderful post. My husband was a super patient man and I learned to develop more patience as the result of being with him.I still have very far to go,though.

  4. Thanks SO much for visiting my blog - because now I got to visit yours. It's 10pm and I just got in from running my older kids around and now my poor little one isn't feeling well - I just had time to read your post - patience! I printed out your post and put it on my cork board - you just helped me through this evening! How true every word is!

  8. So true, Shug. I had to chuckle though... yesterday afternoon while Skyping with my daughter and grandson, he was ready to move on to something else. His mom and and I were still talking. He started pitching a little fit (almost 2 years old... lots of NO and little almost fits). Amanda starting telling him he needed to learn to be patient. Then she was explaining that meant waiting awhile without whining. LOL! Aparently it is a lesson at every stage of life! blessings ~ tanna
