Feeding My Soul

Feeding my Soul is so important to me...

First and foremost, I feed my soul by reading the word of God and by communicating with Him on a daily basis.

Today, however....I am talking about feeding my soul with contentment.....My happiness soul needs to be nourished every single day..

What better way to find peace of mind than to feed your soul?  How do I do this?

I spend time surrounding myself with things I love...
Things like nature, or looking at a beautiful sunset, taking time to smell the fragrance of the flowers growing in my yard, enjoying the laughter of my grandchildren or just rocking on my back porch...

It really does not take much to add some cheerfulness to my life....I find that just putting on a pair of old worn out jeans is comforting....or how about enjoying the good ol' drink of the South...(Ice cold tea with a twist of lemon or mint)
...And then there are things like adding color to my day!

Oh yes....Color brings me a lot of pleasure.
I'm not afraid to mix colors...If it makes me happy, then I use it.

Other things I love are.....
Texas Stars
A hot cup of coffee, early in the morning
My pillow
The softness of silk
A walk at the park
Yummy tasting custard pie

When I stop to think about it, feeding my soul is really so simple and so easy to do.  I think I love it!

Have You Fed Your Soul Today?

Enjoy the Blessings of this day...
