Good morning, Sunshine! It is Monday....again.
The weekend waved goodbye way too quickly for me.
My Goals for the week:
1. Cook! I made a trip to the grocery store yesterday afternoon....I am planning on being in the kitchen some this week.
2. Say "NO" to things that drain me. (I'm not very good about saying no...
3. Say "YES" to spontaneous joy like making cupcakes!
4. Call a good friend.... that I've been meaning to check on.
5. Lunch with friends.!!!!!

Wishing you all a week full of laughter, Grace, and tiny victories. Let's make this week a GREAT one!!
Shug.....🌼
I like your calendar. its easy to read and I should to the write on mine what I plan to eat because I sometimes buy things and forget they are there. part of daily life now. the forgetting I mean
ReplyDeleteLooks like a full week hope you enjoy some of it. I have a hard time saying no also...but I am learning.
ReplyDeleteI like that calendar and the fun decorations on it. I'm also having lunch with friends this week.
ReplyDeletePraying your CT scan goes well!
Your personalized calendar is so great! (Are you sure you're not a professional artist gone undercover?) Aside from Bible study breakfast this morning, our week looks blessedly blank. I love the thought of tiny victories. They all count!
ReplyDeleteI love your colorful weekly planner. I love that you pace yourself with chores and play. That's the way life should be. Mine is similar to yours with some laundry, finishing up my lesson for Bible Study tomorrow and enjoying the beautiful sunshine and flowers popping up all over the complex. Must get some pictures. Enjoy your Monday!!! Sending hugs and smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love that...Tiny Victories...Yes, I'm wanting those this week too.
ReplyDeleteI just have to get my weight down again. I have been so "bad" and I am paying for it now.
The backyard is looming large on my mind. We just have to get it under control. Hmmm that's just like me..I have to get back under control too.
Hope your doctor appointments go well and that the ball game is a winner.
Sue
That sounds like a great week. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteDid you say what the heart scan is for and I forgot? Are you feeling alright?
ReplyDeleteFUN!!!! Let's do this. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour goals sound doable and fun.
ReplyDeleteIs the heart scan for your husband? I hope everything is okay. My husband has a lazy heart valve and has to go in every year or so for a scan. He’s fine. He’ll probably need a pacemaker at some point in the future. I just can’t imagine that the scan is for you!
ReplyDeleteI cured myself from saying yes to everything. I read the book,” Don’t say yes when you want to say no.” and it changed my people pleasing tendencies. The best thing, I don’t feel guilty about it like I did when I was young. Al-Anon helped too.
I agree with Myra - you’re a graphic artist or an illustrator . Come on, we all want to know. 🤔
Hello my Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love how pretty your planner is. Sounds like a great week and I love your philosophy on life. Wishing you a week of tiny victories too. 💗 Blessings xo
Good evening my friend. So you are done with day one. I have a dental appointment tomorrow too. Wednesday, I go to lunch with a friend. Thursday heart doctor.
ReplyDeleteSo what is your heart scan for? Hope all is okay. Looks like a nice week.
I like the way you think, my friend. I'm learning right along with you when it comes to learning to say no if it's going to make me feel drained. It kind of takes the fun out of things when we overextend ourselves, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteyour days look so busy and fun.... good luck.
ReplyDelete# we just doing little gardening this season....
What a pretty planner page. A fun way to look at your week and I like that there is a free day included in there.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan.
ReplyDeleteSaying no to things that drain you is a wonderful thing. Cupcakes? Yes, please and thank you. Lunch with a friend is a wonderful thing as well. Sounds like a good list.
ReplyDeleteI've been saying No to things that drain me too. They all invited me over to my sister-in-law's birthday party, but I've been feeling under the weather, and just getting my strength back, so had to say no. I'll meet them again soon. Cupcakes always say "joy" to me. So glad you made some Yummy ones. It's good that you are managing your time well, Shug. And so thoughtful of you to check up on your friend. : )
