Good Morning....I am so happy to see our wonderful sunshine this morning!
Sadly, the ballgame was not in our favor. A few tears were shed, but all is good.
We honestly should have beat this team, but we had too many nervous turnovers. Just wasn't our normal playing. Ended up, that the team that beat us, won State!
We had a good trip, other than me having a little sickness! Sam and I ate at a Mexican restaurant after the game and before we even left the place, I felt sick at my stomach.
Throwing up was the answer to me feeling better.
I did grab a few pictures before we ate..
The most beautiful sunset. No filter at all!
The view was stunning.....I sent a text to
my grandson (our weather specialist) to find out what kind of clouds they were....the answer, Stratus clouds.
And then there was this! SO MANY birds.
I'm guessing they were having a community gathering.
Thousands of birds!!
We also saw at least a 100 of these wind turbines which produce electricity. They are massive and kinda scary looking to me! 😕
This gave us a big laugh....the little Tonka dump truck strapped down to the bed of an eighteen wheeler truck.
The little thing was well strapped down.
We were standing out in the back pasture trying to look for the alignment of the planets...
Shanda joined us in looking for the planets.
God sure painted some beautiful skies for us to see...
Me today...↑↑↑
Although we did not win the State game, it was a good little get-away.
Shug...
So sorry that Mylee's team lost, Shug. Loved the photos of the sunset and those birds, though. Wow! I've never seen so many in one place. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you didn't win, but they did so good to get so far!
ReplyDeleteI'm also sorry you ate something bad at that place. Being sick while traveling is terrible.
I love the birds - so many! And the tonka truck is the cutest!
We couldn't see the planets either, it was very cloudy here.
I forgot to look last night - and we were out. Oh well. My goodness those were some gorgeous sunset photos you took. Ahh, the birds! Reminds me of Bodega Bay!
ReplyDeleteThat’s too bad about the loss. I used to tell my sons, you build more character when you lose. He still remembers that to this day! ❤️
Ugh on the food poisoning. Good thing it passed through quickly. My best friend and her family had a deadly Shigella food poisoning that actually killed one woman in that incident. Unfortunately it had lasting health affects that eventually killed my best friend a couple years later. Food poisoning can be deadly.
I am so sorry Mylee's team lost. I know that has to hurt.
ReplyDeleteThose skies were absolutely gorgeous. I didn't get to see the planets either.
You must have gotten food sickness - did Sam get it?
What is the deal with all those millions of birds?
You know those windmills - where do they put them when they are old?
aahh, that's too bad about the state game. Wow, look at all those birds! That's really something! I'm sorry you got sick after eating at the Mexican restaurant. Those clouds were really neat. And that is one of the prettiest sunset photos I've seen. It really is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy March Shug!

Awww, I could tell just from a quick look at the first photo that they lost. I know they must also be so frustrated after coming so close. You got food poisoning at that Mexican restaurant!! Gosh, kind of a bad trip, but you sure did find the joy and beauty in it. Your sky photos have literally given me chills all up and down my face and neck!! And the ones at home are just as gorgeous. I love this cute tiny truck! I also love your bird photos! I have never been able to get a good photo of this many. the first bird photo really highlights just how MANY there are! Then the last one of the birds against the pink sky is awesome!
