Happy Wednesday!!
Came across this last evening and thought I would give it a try...I must say, it is harder than you think.
After several tries, I finally said it all correctly. Not very fast though.

Doctor's appointment #2 for this week is this morning....seeing the rheumatologist this morning. My ANA has been positive for a couple of years now. The doctor is treating me for Sjogren's syndrome, which means I have to see him twice a year.
Yesterday was my cardiologist appointment.
I truly like this doctor. I had a stent put in a few years ago, and with my family history of heart disease, I now see him once a year.
However.....yesterday, he ordered a CT scan of my heart and another stress test, which I was not expecting him to do. I think this is precautionary since my brother died in December of a massive heart attack.
Next week is my 6 month teeth cleaning appointment.
WOW....I am sounding very Old this morning...
I am thankful that we have medical care and can get these needed check-ups.
Getting older is just one long game of 'Which doctor do I see this week?'
You get Bonus points when you can remember all your appointment times without checking your calendar! LOL
a photo of my daughter's redbud tree beginning to bloom out.
Spring will officially be here tomorrow!!
Have a good one!
Shug.
My AnA is elevated also, but it comes from having fibromyalgia. So, unless the numbers jumped drastically, my NP isn't concerned. I will be praying for you, Shug, regarding your stress test and CT scan.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the day my Redbud tree is in bloom again! Your daughter's is gorgeous!
Praying for you my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteYAY for spring!!
Praying for all dear Friend. I have arthritis and they've tested me twice now for rheumatoid (both negative so far thank goodness). This aging stuff isn't for the weak! Lol But we owe it to ourselves and our families to take care of these temples we've been given, so it's wonderful you're keeping up with appts etc (even though it's so not fun!) Blessings xo
ReplyDeleteGetting old is NOT for sissies, that's for sure. Hang in there, Shug, and be good to yourself. God bless!
ReplyDeleteRedbuds are so pretty and always make me think of my mom who loved them.
ReplyDeleteI have Rheumatoid arthritis so I get to see the rheumatologist twice a year too. Glad the cardiologist is keeping an eye on you!
Every morning when I wake up I thank God for my health (which, so far, is pretty good). I love redbud trees.
ReplyDeleteHaHa..that reading the colors is really a mind bender for sure. It took me several times to do it right and it was slow going. Maybe I should have had my coffee first,,HaHa
ReplyDeleteI also had a doctor appointment yesterday. It was a video call with my doctor. Her end didn't work so she could hear me but not see me.. I could see and hear her just fine. This was basically a check-in that Medicare requires. Crazy because there is no real doctor things like blood pressure and listening to your heart and lungs. Oh well, I passed with flying colors..and am going to make an in office visit to get a shot in my knee. I haven't had one for several years and now the knee is giving me trouble again. There's always something. This ole' body is wearing out...some days I really feel my age.
Hoping your further tests prove to be nothing more for you to contend with. (terrible sentence structure)
Love the redbud blossoms. Our park close to us has several in full bloom right now. They are so pretty.
Sue
I'm glad you have good doctors looking after you!
ReplyDelete"Getting older is just one long game of 'Which doctor do I see this week?'" ... you've no idea how that resonates, Shug! I'm so grateful your cardiologist is being proactive in his care and look forward to hearing you've passed with straight A's.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of straight A's ... no way could I have passed that colors quiz. (Doesn't mean I'm going to quit trying, lol!)
Please let me know the results of your heart tests! I can do all the colored words, but very slowly!! Yes, we have so many doctor appointments this week! And on Monday I passed out in the doctor's office and they called an ambulance! But I am fine now and back home.
ReplyDeleteGood morning girlfriend! Well, It took me a couple times to get through the "colors". That was a good brain tease!! Oh my dear, how I relate to "Doctor's Appointments". Also it was interesting to hear of your heart problems. We have dealth with my dearest heart problems for years. His Grandfather, father, two brothers and a nephew have all died of heart failure. My dearest had 5 bypasses over 23 years ago, and since then stints, defib/pacemaker, ablations, etc, etc. But the miracle is he was a premie at birth had a stroke 5 years ago...and he's here today at 86 by God's grace! PTL
ReplyDeletePraying all your tests and results will be good, and our Great God will put His healing hand on you. PS I'm trying to think of a "new thing" for Thursday!!! Love and hugs
That WAS kind of hard saying the colored words when scrolling down haha. Your daughter's blossom tree is beautiful. Love the color, and it just reminds me of Spring. I always remember the first day of Spring, as it was a dear friend's birthday who passed away. I'm sorry to hear about your rheumatology report. I do hope the others are Ok. Your blog design with the pink flowers is so Springy, Shug.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
I love the red bud tree! Spring is tomorrow. We have white pear trees blooming. Spring is a blessing not a season.
ReplyDeleteYou know you are so right about the doctors.
I go last week for a regular checkup and every time I go, they find something else. Had a echocardiogram and now I have to go to a cardiologist.
Good luck to you dear friend.
I can get through the colors but I have to go slow.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of doctor appointments. Whenever I have one I have to write the time down and check it several times to make sure I have the right time.
Sorry to read that your brother died. Sounds like you got yourself a good doc on your side. No stone unturned.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you Shug. I am glad to read that you are keeping up with all of your appointments and taking care of yourself. Many people don't do that!
ReplyDeleteThat is hard!! Especially when you get to black and it is black! Having good health care is important! Hope everything turns out ok:)
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a redbud tree since I left Savannah 41 years ago. this one is lovely. this time of year in Savannah its all about red buds and azalea
ReplyDeletethe test you took was in my 3 hour visit to a psychiatrist memory test, to check for dementia
