🌼 Doctor Update: Saw the cardiologist this morning. I will be having the angioplasty procedure done on Thursday of this week. My calcium level was extremely high and one of my main arteries has an issue. It could be the stent that he put in about 3 years ago, or could be some blockage. I have full confidence that the doctor will get this all taken care of. Thank you all for the prayers!!
Yesterday afternoon was a beautiful day. The rain stopped and the sun was shining. The end of March and first few weeks of April is when the "Azalea Trails" are held in our near by Bigger City. Sunday afternoon, Trista, Shanda, Mylee and I, decided to drive by, but the gardens were so beautiful, that we had to stop.
Another one, with a cute
little basket in it's mouth.

This lovely home is on the market for $759,900.
I can't even imagine the cost to have these gardens kept up the way they are done now.
For this reason, I will have to pass on buying the house!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Someone had to take the picture, so I chose to do so....Kept me from having to sit on the ground! LOL. Ha, Ha.
It truly was a beautiful afternoon and a sweet transformation of Winter to Spring...
Shug...
Glad you saw the cardiologist and there is a plan in place. I'll be praying for you as you wait.
ReplyDeleteThose gardens are incredible! I would love to wander through them.
We had terrible weather this weekend; ice storms north of us that took down so many trees, then tornadoes and high winds around us. The power company employees have been very busy!
Oh that garden with the blooming azaleas are breathtaking. The vibrant colors are gorgeous. Wow. I can’t grow azaleas here. Too hot and dry in the summer and they’re not drought resistant. Now in the Redwoods, there are the wild California Rhododendron that grow under the big trees and they bloom around late April/May. Azaleas are part of the Rhododendron family. Azaleas would grow best on the coast or in the redwood rain forests. But not here in the valley.
ReplyDeleteThat salmon color was striking. I’ve not ever seen that color before.
About your angioplasty procedure on Thursday ➡️ I’m asking God to guide the hands of the medical team, to provide wisdom and skill during the procedure, and to bring about a successful outcome for you. I’m thanking God for the medical advancements and skilled professionals who are able to perform such procedures!! It is amazing what can be done these days!
🥰
Shug, you will definitely be in my prayers for your procedure. Trust in the Lord and in your doctor will make it all fine.
ReplyDeleteOh, those azaleas are magnificent, especially the orange bush/tree. The colors, oh my, I think I would have been a camera snapping crazy lady.
How fun to be at the gardens with your lovely "Girls". A very blessed day.
My home isn't a mansion by any stretch of the imagination and it would sell for the same price as the one you quoted. California prices are through the roof. I don't know how anyone can buy them now and the property tax is beyond belief. Politics has made it so hard for us to live here..Sorry, I will get off my soapbox.
Its raining off and on today and everything is a lovely shade of gray..haha..

Hi, I am praying for you!! Keep us updated.
ReplyDeleteOh these gardens... thank you for the beautiful colors.. we are once again covered in white. We had an ice and snow storm over the weekend.

Hi Shug!! Last night as I thought about you, I prayed that whatever needs to be done will be minimal and go very well. Let us know the date when you find out, and I will be praying for the doctors and for your recovery. I have heard that the big hospitals do dozens of these a day, and they are very common. But I am also praying for peace for you. I know we need to turn everything over to God, but our emotions are what they are, and it is hard not to fret about things. The azaleas are so gorgeous!! None here are blooming yet. So this is a trail with several houses? The photo of the girls in front of the azaleas is gorgeous! But my favorite has to be the dog wearing the bonnet. So cute and silly!
ReplyDeleteYou know how we have a few old books and a couple letters to remember the people pf long ago? One day people after us will have all these blogs! 🩷 For some reason the side bar verse on your blog made me think of that. Your great-great-grandaughter will be able to read about your day. She'll probably say $700 and something thousand is not a lot for a house! Ha ha
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see your face on here and know all's well. I know we're an hour ahead of y'all, but your doctor's visit was front and center on my mind from the time I got up. Thank the Lord for a pro-active physician and yes, I'm continuing to pray.
ReplyDeleteThose blooms are so magnificent and I love the statues. That dog in a bonnet is the best!!!
I'm a bit late getting around today, Shug, but I want to say that I will be praying for you regarding Thursday. I have another friend who has had problems over the last year with extremely high calcium levels.
ReplyDeleteThe Azelia trail is so gorgeous. Viewing your pictures made me think of my mom. She loved Azelia's.
I'm so happy you have a plan in place --- I will keep praying just in case. I love azaleas and would love to be able to see that garden.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read that your heart issues are being taken care of ASAP. I will continue to pray for you!
ReplyDeleteAll the best for your health issues.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous flowers. After our ice storm, they are eye candy.
thecontemplativecat here. Those gardens were fantastic. The colors and the statues make it so special. sorry to hear about the heart issues. I will be praying for you. I promise.
ReplyDeleteWith all the prayers you're receiving (mine included) I have no doubt the procedure will go off without a hitch.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely Azaleas!! Praying for you and the Doctor!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you saw the cardiologist at the right time, and you are going in this week. I'll be praying for you as you wait and go in.
ReplyDeleteThose gardens are incredible! I would love to wander through them. I have never seen an orange Azealia tree. FABULOUS DARLING!
Oh Shug, good luck on Thursday. I hope and pray all will be okay. The flowers in that garden look soooo lovely. They made a great welcome to spring!
ReplyDeletePraying, praying, praying, Shug! Danny has had heart issues ever since we met, and I know that it's not something anyone can ignore or not face each day. May God give you His peace and comfort as you move forward in faith, dear one. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi Shug~ Many prayers for your procedure! May, God bless, protect and heal you my friend. That garden is amazing!! The photos were so beautiful! We are just starting into some warmish weather - 50's and 60's. I can't even imagine taking care of that beautiful garden, but I wouldn't mind visiting and soaking in the sunshine! Gentle hugs to you. Love, Barb
ReplyDeleteThose azaleas are gorgeous. What a beautiful place to visit.
ReplyDeleteWill be thinking of you and sending good vibes and prayers your way for Thursday's procedure.
Love the kids statue and that garden is stunning.. so glad you don't have to wait long for the procedure. sometimes here we have to wait a month or longer. Prayers going up . Savannah is ablaze with Azaleas now, have not seen them in many years. thanks for the photos.
ReplyDeleteThe Azalea gardens are beautiful. How nice it would be to just sit there by the pond and think and pray and just be. I've never seen an orange Azalea tree. At our old house, which was new at the time, we planted a vibrant Pink Azalea bush in the front of our house. Every Spring the blossoms came out and were so lovely. Those little statues always seem to make a garden, don't they? And this is a cute picture of the girls. I'm sorry you are having health issues right now, Shug, and I hope your procedure goes well this week.
