WE ARE STATE BOUND!!
We traveled yesterday to Forney, to play a regional game and our team won big time!!
We now move forward to the State playoffs this coming Thursday and Friday. Yay for this team!!
Mylee was so nervous before the game, that I think it drained a lot of her energy...She played well and so did her team mates.
BTW....she did score in this photo!!
I snapped this picture of Sam and William as they took a short nap yesterday. How precious it is to have a Grandbaby sleeping on your chest. So much LOVE!!
A visit to see Poppie at the Nursing home sure put a smile on his face. Poppie loved his visit from Tucker and William.
Tucker, Emily and Trista, invited Sam and I to join them for dinner on Thursday evening, at a quaint little Italian place.
I would definitely say this is a unique little restaurant. It is by reservations only and their speciality is Lasagne.
Unfortunately, our reservation was at 7:15 and the Lasagne was sold out. I had spinach and cheese filled ravioli covered in a vodka tomato cream sauce...
Sam indulged in the lemon chicken with cream potatoes and fresh vegetables.
Tucker had the steak, potatoes, and veggies.
The girls had the same thing as me, and then we all shared this......↓↓↓↓
Bananas Foster
This little place is all about a "Farm to market" menu. Everything is homemade and comes from local growers. I would say with the exception of the bananas...lol
They also specialize in Wines, but we are not wine drinkers so our beverage choice was water and Root Beer sodas.
On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this place a
Six. Just being honest.
Sam and his little buddy enjoyed their evening immensely!!
Yay for Mylee's team! I hope all goes well for them next week. Your dinner at the Italian restaurant sounds like a good family time. The food looks delicious. Have a great weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Mylee and her teammates! Oh, that little guy sleeping on Sam's chest is priceless, Shug. Brings back so many memories of my grand girls when they were babies. The youngest one will be 10 this year and the oldest, 15. How time flies! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThe photo of Sam and baby William is so precious. Your dinner looks good - what no cannoli? lol. Just had to say that when I saw the banana foster which I have never had. Good news about Mylee’s team. Sounds like a wonderful evening.
ReplyDeleteDelightful !!! Oh those photos of Sam and William are precious. There is nothing like the snuggles with a baby.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the wonderful win for Mylee and the team.. How exciting.
That is a cute, quaint restaurant but sorry the food wasn't a 10...seems that's the way it is at most restaurants nowadays.
We had local pizza delivered last night. It really was great but I think I was so hungry that anything would have been tasty.

Congratulations, Mylee! Aw, there's something so endearing about grown men and their babies -- just look at the expression on Poppie's face! That restaurant's ceiling tile is so cool; and I love the look of your ravioli. I'm sorry your experience didn't earn more than a '6', however. I guess there won't be a 'next time', but thankfully you've got choices. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteYeah for Mylee's team! Your food looked good at that place...only a six...then I would not go back.
ReplyDeletethecontemplativecat here. Yay! How exciting is that! The baby on Grandpa's chest is too precious for words.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I loved that. I loved your meme too - so true.
ReplyDeleteYear for Mylee!
I liked every single meal you took a picture of.
I loved holding the grandbaby too.
Very sweet.
Congrats on going to State!
ReplyDeleteYour pic of Sam and sleeping grandbaby is the sweetest. :)
I want to eat at that place, even if it's a 6. :)
The food looks wonderful, and so does the atmosphere! State championships is a HUGE thing!! I hope she does not get too nervous to enjoy it. William is a Grandpa's boy for sure! What sweet photos!
