Too many takers in our country anymore. I'm a giver, I've never been comfortable being a taker.

And I'm staying up too late. We've had some storms come through and I couldn't sleep. BUT--these days in our country, I see WAY too many takers--who want the Govt. to take care of them and their needs. They don't want to work --but they'll take all they can get from the Govt. and us taxpayers... Scary!!!!!
Hugs,
BetsyBetsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-856115860459514900.post-91580781014600538462011-08-18T18:37:09.393-05:002011-08-18T18:37:09.393-05:00Funny that you post this. But there are people who take advantage of it, and people who are very ungrateful, like we have all the time in the world to do just for them and it should be expected. Now most people are not this way, but some are. So I have had to just draw the line somewhere. But I still feel bad when I do!!!Ginny Hartzlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329131153403895625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-856115860459514900.post-79440515242901139542011-08-18T10:03:30.776-05:002011-08-18T10:03:30.776-05:00Shug

If it is one sided, then you encourage the other person to be only a taker and use you. Or in some cases you never allow that person to grow and become the independent person the Lord wants them to be.
But when all is said and done-I would still rather have been known for giving, than taking!camp and cottage livinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09493023859271366201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-856115860459514900.post-38026684812876842322011-08-18T09:02:01.795-05:002011-08-18T09:02:01.795-05:00I am a giver, but I do know when to say "enou...I am a giver, but I do know when to say "enough", so I guess I'm not a huge giver. Once I slowed down and got my priorities straight, I began feeling more effective in my giving and received more blessings as a result.
