Wise old Owl.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."                 Jeremiah  29:11

Gosh.....sometimes it sure is hard to be "Wise" at all times!
At least once or twice a week, I find myself making crazy choices and mistakes!!   I'm merely speaking for myself here....but I'm guessing that there are many more who find themselves making decisions that are not approved by the old wise owl himself.

Just Sayin'

As true as it might be.....* that *.... Wise decisions are not always what our day is made of......At least we can stay true to ourselves and remain AWESOME as we try to improve every choice and make them GOOD ONEs!!!!!

  1. My hubby is the wise old owl, he speaks seldom and listens instead. When he does speak, he makes perfect sense.

  3. Hi there! All of us make mistakes, no doubt about it. If we learn something from them, then it isn't all bad. I quite agree with Ruth, I'm thankful we have a loving God that forgives us and still loves us when those mistakes happen.

  4. I think we all do this and that is why we have a God that is forgiving.

Happy Easter to you and your family.

  5. Hi Shug~

What wonderful advise, I need to use it on a daily basis! It's very hard to sometimes just be quiet when you can so clearly see all the mistakes that are about to be made! I guess that's how we learn and grow . . . ahhhhh. Thank you for the wonderful reminder . . . I needed it!

  6. Great post. Wouldn't our society just be so much better if everyone exercised more wisdom and good 'ole common sense. Have a great weekend. Happy Easter to you!

  7. I'm so happy to find I have company! I'm in the same boat at least once a week, and think in fact, I might have done that this morning with a family member! :-) Take care and have a fun week!

  8. Hi There, Just checking in to say HOWDY... Hope you and your adorable family had a wonderful Easter. We certainly did.

YES---it's hard to be WISE all of the time... That's just part of life... None of us are perfect --and I am one who has made MANY wrong decisions through the years... Oh Well. We do learn from them.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  9. Sometimes the wise choices turn up not to be so wise after all. I am grateful God is a gracious God.
