Red Blanket and the Swan!!

Hope it has been a great Monday for each of you!  Chiropractor visit for me {early this morning}.....and then a good visit with my dad after that.

Just a short update on my dad:  I am happy to report that he is doing great...and he looks GREAT!   There are two things that he really loves.   One being his Red blanket/Spread.   Oh my....I think he is actually obsessed with the thing.   Yes....that is his belt wrapped around the folded blanket.  LOL.   He wanted to make sure that no one walked away with his RED blanket.

Every single day.....he tells me {or anyone else that comes to visit} about this blanket.  Some great stories have been told when it comes to the Red Blanket.

It was a quick afternoon......time passes quickly when you're sleeping.   I had taken a couple of "Aleve" for my back, and all I can say is......they definitely made me sleepy!!  I think I even snored!

I thought this was so neat.....I had to share!!

What do you see?   What I saw was a SWAN.

Maybe a few too many feathers on the head....but still.....it is a gorgeous CLOUD swan!

I took this picture last Saturday night, while we were waiting on the Fire Works Show.

  4. Hi Shug!

Your dad sounds like quite a character-I'm sure I would love him, and his red blanket! My poor mother thinks she is married to a man who pilots a helicopter, has prosthetic legs and leaves her notes, written in red on her ceiling...if I didn't laugh and smile with her, I would be crying.

The cloud does look like a swan! Isn't it fun to watch the clouds and use your imagination!? I don't think adults do that enough. . . :0)

    Hugs,
    Barb

  7. YES, I see the swan! Great capture, Shug. I'm glad you had a good visit with your Dad. I was at the chiropractor's office yesterday myself... seems a month of carrying one grandchild or another on my hip always merits a visit or two after they go home. ;) blessings and hugs ~ tanna

  8. I love the story about the blanket... and am so glad your dad is doing well.
I saw the swan...the other day while driving, I saw a whale! of course... I did not stop to take a picture...but I saw it...and it was awesome.
Aleve does the same thing to me... I sleep so well when I take it.
I no longer take it... because it metabolizes through the kidneys, and now that I have T2 diabetes... it's off my meds list. Too bad, because it makes the arthritis pain subside for a while.
Oh, glad you're still seeing the Chiropractor for you back... that is a GOOD THING!

    have a great week.

  9. A cloud swan! I can truly say I've never seen a swan in the clouds. Maybe I should spend more time in the backyard.
