East Texas Fields and Fences

Did someone say RAIN?   As you can see, by all the green in these pictures.....we have had a lot of rain!  More to come today, tomorrow and Saturday.

Find a deer head........Hang it on your fence!

I couldn't exactly tell if the next two were deer heads, or cow heads?   Kinda strange seeing them there.
This field, barn, fence......they are located just down the road from our place.   The field is so pretty with all of the wild flowers dressing it up.

I'm telling you.....when I'm out driving, I find myself in awe of God's awesome beauty that surrounds us.   How?? How can anyone enter into a Spring Season, and deny that God exist?  It is truly beyond my thinking.

Not just Spring......But everyday!   I believe that God reveals HIMSELF through HIS creations.

"The Whole Earth is Full of HIS Glory!"

I'm joining Good fences today.....

Blessings to each of you....
Shug

  1. Great pics, Shug! Love all that green, and the red bird house on the fence. The wildflowers are pretty, pretty and God did a good job of greening it all up. It's green here, but we need rain, and showers are in the forecast today. Blessings your way.

  3. Hi Shug!

Isn't it funny the things people put on their fences!? Here in Idaho, I tend to see shoes and boots . . . who knows why?!

I really like the fence that is near you, so pretty and green! The wild flowers are just amazing!

In the last few days, we had snow, I would have preferred rain, but I'm not in charge!

I agree with you, how can you deny who is in charge when you look at the beauty around us? As, Jimmy Durante would say, "What a beautiful world"!

    Hugs,
    Barb

  5. I'm so thankful for the beauty all around us, especially during spring! It's just amazing to see the earth waking up after a long winter's sleep. I have one of those deer heads my son found on a walk behind our house. Last year, I hung it up on the patio, not exactly my favorite patio decor. lol!

  6. Hi Beautiful Lady, Isn't Spring just fantastic? It always makes me smile. As we drove on the back roads this week --I LOVED seeing all of the GREEN around me.

We have gotten lots of rain here too lately--but it's APRIL.... So--the rain is good for our yard and for the May Flowers....

As you know, we've been out hiking this week and searching for waterfalls. Had a wonderful time.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  9. How curious to have skulls perched on your fenceposts! Gotta wonder about that. Enjoy the showers, we are supposed to get a bit of rain in the Hill Country as well, but it keeps missing us.

  11. Well deer heads & or cow heads do seem a little odd to hang on a fence but to each their own.
Gorgeous wild flowers in that last shot. I agree God's creation is amazing & wonderful.

  14. Lovely photos of the fields. I once heard a minister say that nature was God's first Bible, and I agree. All we have to do to see Him is look at his creation. Loved this post. Have a great weekend!

  20. I agree...especially in spring, when new life springs up everywhere after a cold, dark winter...that alone would give evidence of a creator God! That field of wild flowers is lovely!
