You Might Could Say.....

Good News.....

You might could say that I'm an instant Millionaire!!

Well....Maybe not....but if I were to get a $1.00 for every fallen leaf that has landed in our yard..then YES, I would be a Millionaire!

Who knew that a big ol' oak tree and a huge Pecan tree could have so many leaves?  Not to mention all of the other trees in our yard.

Just so happens that this past weekend was a super WINDY weekend, and wouldn't you know it, all of the leaves in our general area....ended up in my yard!!!

How could that be?  I guess the leaves are just drawn to places where they are appreciated!!  lol.

I can tell you....I am so thankful for the big ol' trees that provide a lot of shade, during the hot Summer...

These few leaves are still clinging!!  It won't be long until they too, are added to my collection!!

To everything there is a Season!

Ecclesiastes 3

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose
under the Heaven:  a time to be born, and a time to die;  a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

  1. Are you raking, using a leaf blower, or just leaving them alone? I KNOW, because we live in a place called the Tree Streets. The leaves are everywhere! Neighbors rake them into huge piles at the curb and a big truck comes to suck them up, the leaf vacuum. We never do anything, and eventually they blow away. Lazy? You be the judge.

  2. The fallen leaves may not be quite so welcome, but they sure did a good job of keeping you shaded during the summer.

  3. Gee, we could be millionaires too.

    Our neighbor's trees like our yard too. This does not impress
    us at all. Oh well.

    Have fun!

  4. That's a pile of leaves for sure. Good thing you got the heavy wind to bring most of them down at once. Less raking that way.
