Oink, Oink......It's cold outside!

Baby, it's Cold outside!   I 'm just hoping that our little "Piggies" are keeping warm!

I'm talking about the new addition to the family!

Sam and I are now "Grandparents" to:

"Punkin-Roll" on the left
and......"Gus" on the right!

AND

"Theo".....pictured here with Tori!

We all, instantly......Fell In Love with these Piggies!!

All three of them were delivered yesterday afternoon, to their new home, which is located on the back lot of
the kid's new home (which is still under construction.)

Pretty nice home......for a pig!

Oh.....and let me tell you......the piggie house is adorned with "Christmas lights!"   This is a must show!

(sorry for the blur.....it was COLD outside, last night)

I know y'all.......it's a first for me as well....

I too, have never seen a pig pen, decorated with
Christmas Lights!

I must tell you though.......those little piggies, and the addition of the Christmas Lights.....

Made us ALL have some Big ol' Smiles !!!

These are the kind of things that make life Fun!!

Happy to say that we are now proud grandparents of

3 new show pigs!!

Oink, Oink!!

Oh how I love "Simple Joys"

  1. looks like a pig palace to me, lol, you said they are show pigs, does that mean they will not be coming for super as in pork chops? We always had pigs when i was a child and we named the same names every year, I just never knew they were different pigs until I was 10, that was when i quit eating pork, lol! They are lovely pigs ,

  2. They are PRECIOUS! And yes, it's gotta be a first for a pigpen to be so grand, decorated with Christmas lights. Mercy me! lol Stay warm, sweet friend.

  3. This does not surprise me- being Nana to a whole herd of little piggies myself! I think Christmas lights are the perfect addition to the pen. LOL!

  4. I LOVE your header today, Shug! Creeks are near and dear to my heart, because there was one out back when I was growing up. I do really like pigs and I think they are smart, too! How cool. Now, dare I ask...will they eventually be bacon?

  5. That pig pen does not in the least resemble what we had when I was growing up,and no Christmas lights for our piggies. Neat idea, though.
