Zipping and More......

How many of you have ever been zip-lining?  Doesn't it look like so much fun?

This would be something that I would LOVE to do......  I could just see myself breezing down the long trails of lines.......zipping from tree to tree!!  The one thing that I wouldn't like would be coming in for the landings.

This is Kelsey.......Tyler's precious girlfriend.

Here is Tori.....she is being a little bit more daring!  No Hands!

Here's the take off!!

and they zoom as high as 350 feet from the ground.

And.......here is the more!

So, our church held a BBQ Cook-Off this afternoon.    Sam and I entered brisket, baby back ribs, chicken and beans.

I cooked the beans and Sam did all of the smoking....(on the cooker)

In my opinion.......I cooked the very worse tasting beans that I have ever cooked.
I should have stayed with how I always cook my beans (just like my mom taught me) BUT..........NO, I had to try to dress them up a bit.

I would include the exact recipe, but I have no idea what the EXACT recipe is.

I do know that I added grilled onions, rotel and a few spices, along with BBQ sauce and a tad bit of ketchup.   I also threw in some brown sugar.

To my big surprise......... I won first place!!!!!

I was shocked.....

My Prize?    A $50.00 gift card to our local Brookshire's Grocery Store!

I'm a happy camper!!

Hope all of you have enjoyed a relaxing Holiday!!
