Well friends.... Can you believe that it is the first day if September? I remember as a child, the days seemed so long and there is no telling how many times I have said..."this day will never end!"
Oh how I would love to have some of those long days back again! Were they really longer? No. Every day has the very same amount of hours!!
Even though this new day brings about many different kinds of events, the one thing that I am most thankful for today, is that I have the freedom to go to my favorite church and worship my God in freedom and truth.
I welcome September with open arms.... I look forward to the many ways that I can serve God this month!
I appreciate each of you. Your lives are important to me!!'n

ReplyDeleteShug, I love this entry...and what a sweet picture of you and Sam. You are a very beautiful couple.
ReplyDeleteI love Sept. too. the air is more crisp, the breeze teasing of cooler days and nights, and shorter light hours to get our work done. Does that mean that we get to sleep longer with darker mornings? Not here. too much harvesting going on.
The pumpkins are getting orange and the sunflowers are bursting.
Loveit!
Life is Good
Well I'm ready for September!!

A wonderful way to embrace September, Shug!
ReplyDeleteWe are so blessed to live in a country where we can freely go to our places of worship. Blessed indeed.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it is already September... the years are flying past so quickly at this point in life. I remember when it seemed to take FOREVER for Christmas to come. Now, I would hold to each month a little longer if I could. ;) blessings and hugs ~ tanna
I welcome Sept too because it means that fall is near. Happy September to you. Always fun to stop by!
