I brought You Something....

Hey Y'all.....I am full of excitement this evening...

As I said in an earlier post, this has been a very busy week, which means that I have not been able to be on my computer as much as I normally am.

One reason is because I have been out of town, and another reason is because I have been having so much Fun!!

Not to worry though...You all were on my mind!  I brought back some beautiful pictures to share with all of you.

Let me start by saying this....Sam and I have traveled close to a thousand miles over the past few days....Let's see, Altus Oklahoma, Wichita Falls Texas, Bowie Texas, Decatur Texas,
back to Bowie Texas, Decatur Texas again, Mansfield Texas, down to Ennis Texas, back up to Frisco Texas, over to McKinney Texas and then home!

Texas is a BIG state....and the drive from Altus Oklahoma down to Ennis Texas is like driving, completely ACROSS some states.

 Ok....Check it out!

My sweetheart surprised me with a trip down to the Bluebonnet Trails....Oh my, the fields and fields of blue bonnets were absolutely gorgeous!!

Here in Texas, the wind has been blowing so hard these past few days, and for once.... I can say that I am happy to have such sweet breezes.....

I had no idea that Blue Bonnets had such a sweet fragrance.  I can only assume that the massive number of these beautiful flowers growing together, on hundreds of acres, is the reason that we were able to enjoy such a lovely smell....

What a sweet blessing from the Lord!

This was a great trip, but I am glad to be home....I think I'm tired!

Hugs Y'all

  2. I never knew that they were scented either....It was absolutely amazing how the fragrance in the air was so sweet. My hubby does not normally smell things very well, and he commented on how we could make lots of money if we could bottle this fragrance....SO SWEET!
