Controlling Everything...

I'm not a control freak, I just happen to know what is
BEST FOR EVERYONE!!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

It's not my intention of describing myself here, but it is possible that I am!  No, not really.....I am NOT a control freak.

For me, I call it "Getting Things Done!"
.................

However.......
Yesterday I witnessed what it really looks like to be one (control freak.)   We were sitting at a "Little Dribblers" game, watching our grandchildren play basketball.....I'm talking about kids that are 8,9 and 10 years old.....

A parent (and one can only assume it was a parent) sitting close to us, was sending his control meter, way past the full limit!

Throughout the entire game, this person was coaching from the stands......He was coaching the referees, the coaches and the kids!!!!  There is no way that he could have enjoyed this game.  I'm not really sure that anyone else enjoyed it either, due to this guy's control meter......

I have never seen him before, and still do not know who he was, but I can promise you that the next time I walk into the gym and he is there.....I will find a seat, far away from him!

In my opinion, we as adults need to inspire, build up, and set good examples for our kids.  After all, if we want them to be the BEST that they can be, we need to let them see us being
the BEST that WE CAN BE!

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be
glad in it!!

Hugs my friends!

  3. That's too bad. Maybe being around the other parents he'll realize what he's doing. I've encountered that in the past at my son's baseball and basketball games. It's very stressful on the kids as well.
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

  6. Sadly this happens a lot at children's games, I find. Hopefully this person will learn his lesson.
