What's For Dinner

Good Sunday Afternoon.....

Check out my lunch menu.  If I have to say so myself, it was DELICIOUS.....

Seems like it has been forever since we have all been able to get together for a Sunday noon meal....and guess what?  It didn't happen today either..

Tori and Tucker went to a Church homecoming with their other grandparents, and Ty had to work today...
The rest of us where here to enjoy this wonderful meal.

I don't know about you, but I like for everything to be ready when we all get home from church...I like for the dishwasher to be empty, the kitchen to be clean, and to have all my food dishes waiting to where all we have to do is to uncover them, get the drinks ready, PRAY and eat...

Just makes everything run smooth if I have all of this done....AND, it makes cleaning up a breeze....

It's now NAP time....Hope you all enjoy a magnificent afternoon...

Sweet hugs,

Shug ~

  2. Wow! It sounds like a wonderful day! The one time I did this was on a Thanksgiving...had the table all set and covered the night before! So the day of our dinner viola...table was ready... I made most of the dinner in crockpots...it was so simple! However, your meal looked delicious and yummmy...hope you were able to rest this afternoon!

    Blessings..

  4. You might be glad I don't live closer. I think I might have reason to stop by just in time for dinner. This sounds pretty good to me.

  5. Sounds good, Shug! We had a mid-day meal today. Hubby grilled pork steaks and I fixed a baked potato and corn. Dessert is supposed to be a no-no here. But we cheated and had an ice cream from the DQ! Shhh, don't tell! Enjoy the rest of your evening.

  7. Hi Shug!

Yum, yum! Where's the recipes?! I too love to cook for my family - and I hate more than anything a messy kitchen!

  9. When can I come over? Wow, you even have two different entrees and rolls, too! I'm not really up to cooking much anymore, so I would give a lot for a home cooked meal like this, I sure hope your family appreciates it!
