A Note To My Blogging Friends......

Kind words are the music of this world......Praise the Lord!!

Hey Y'all....For those of you who follow me regularly, you know that the main focus of my blog is based on "Inspiration."  I love the Lord and It is my desire to speak Hope and Blessings through each of my post and for my light to shine through the words that I speak...

Never is it my intentions to offend anyone or to degrade a person in any way....Yesterday, I posted about "Anger" which caused one of my readers to be offended, and in return acted out in anger by sending me an ugly message and then by posting my same post on her blog.....(Is that fair...are we suppose to copy other people's blogs??)

First of all....I want you all to know that I pray for wisdom before I hit that "Publish Post" button every single day.  I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead me and if I am out of line in anyway, to give me discernment in my heart....

Yesterday was no different from any other day....I woke up eager to post the words that I felt the Lord was leading me to write....I want to be sensitive in what I have to say....but I also want to allow God to use me if there is perhaps an uncomfortable message that someone might need to hear...

No, I am not a preacher....I am not a pastor....but I am a child of God and I eagerly listen so that I can go where the Holy Spirit leads me....I pray that the Lord will give me a heart that does not know greed, does not act in selfishness, and does not speak frivolous words...

I trust that you all know that I am sincere and that you have realized that I am an Optimist....I try to see good in ALL things.  My life is in no way perfect and believe me, I have fought some pretty hard battles in life....But God did not put me hear to complain about those battles...He made me, in order to serve Him and to be His servant.  This is something that I long to do...

I have had to deal with anger in the past.......anger because my life drastically changed the day my sister was killed...anger that is unspeakable.  We all have a story to tell and we all have the choice whether or not to let that anger eat us alive or let us move on in our daily walk with the Lord...

I do apologize to those that I may have offended, but I will not apologize for the topic...It is one that many people need to hear.  (Including myself)

Despite the message that I received in regards to my post yesterday, I plan on having an Amazing Day....I am going to focus on God's love and His Mercy and Grace...

I wish for each of you a beautiful day that is filled with cherished blessings....

Warm Hugs to each of you...
Shug....

  1. I can not for the life of me think what would have made someone object to it. I read it and was convicted because I can lose my temper and it's not glorifying to God at all when I do.

    Hugs...

  3. People will take offence but usually that is because they were pricked in their heart. Your words come in love,it shows through on the blond I thank you for being open to God's leading.

  4. I am sure this person whose opinions are in disagreement with yours is the perfect person to critize others because she/he lives a perfect life! lol Actually, whomever the rude reader was really should follow more closely to the words that you post daily to see that you are an inspiration to others. Never have I read anything that made me think you were putting down ANY sort of PERSON. Maybe the post from yesterday was a little too personal or maybe it hit home with your critical reader. jUST SAYING...

  5. Oh Shug, I'm sorry someone offended you! I must have missed that post the other day and went just now to read it. I don't see how anyone can take offense at anything you wrote. I don't know anyone who lives a perfect life without hurts, anger and all the rest from time to time. I know I certainly don't. But we're all striving, or should be, to live in peace, love and harmony in our lives and with each other. I don't know what this person said, but maybe they'll rethink what it was and realize it was out of line. Hopefully, they didn't mean for things to sound the way they did!
    Hugs, Cheryl

  6. Well, Shug, it is so sorrowful that you should even have to post this. This person, after reading about anger on your blog, then got angry about it! How ironic!! It must have touched on something in her own life. BUT our blogs are our own, to post whatever thoughts we want. If someone doesn't like what you say, no one is forcing them to read it! You have done an AMAZING job by making your blog a safe and happy place for Christians and others to visit. You are putting God in your blog and listening to His leading, so just maybe this person OR others needed to hear this. It is not worth your worrying about, there are always people like this, we cannot please everyone when we are true to our heart. ROCK ON, Shug!! And don't you DARE change a thing about your beautiful and inspiring blog!!! Your moon below is totally cool. You took a disadvantage and turned it around into art!!

  7. ((Shug))

anger is a subject which the enemy uses to keep us in bondage. He uses it against us in so mny ways. I appreciate you listening to the Lord to write in in truth and soaked in prayer. I pray we all learn to deal with anger in a Godly manner and realize, anger in itself is not evil but how we act or react when we are angry. Shug, we need you and ladies like you to keep on keeping on :)

    sending hugs!

  8. Hi Shug!

Know that you are loved . . . by all who daily read your blog, and who are so inspired by your kindness, genuine love for God, family, friends and life!

I think it's so sad that there are those people in the world who feel the need to tear down, instead of build up. We all have moments when life gets us down, and there is no shame in talking about it - in any forum! Keep your chin up sweet lady - and share whatever the Spirit tells you to share, in that, you can never go wrong!

    Warm Hugs and Love,
    Barb

  10. Shug, I've been reading here for a while now and for anyone to take offense to any of your posts is mystifying to me. I went back and read the one in question, and I'm perplexed. What would cause someone to react that way?

Keep doing what you're doing. Your messages are positive and Christ-centered. Satan tries to stifle Christ's elect any way he can, but don't you let it bother you. You know your heart and those of us who read here daily look forward to your positive messages.

I guess we should pray for our enemies...

    ((((hugs))))

  11. So sorry Shug. It is hard when this happens, not to take it to heart, but it is really just a reminder that everyone recieves things based on the filters in their own lives, and you can't change those. You can only be true to what you feel you are being called to write.
Blessings of peace and comfort my friend!

  12. I don't understand either.

However, even if I did - we are here to support and love our friends - right?

We have freedom of speech and religion.

And there is a time to speak and a time to be silent.

    Love,
    sandie

  13. Hi Shug,

All I can say is that I look forward to your words of wisdom. Perhaps that person had to hear those words, lash out and then think and reflect. I'm sorry that you got the short end of the stick!! Keep on going - we need you!!

  15. So sorry you had such a bad experience, but don't allow it to change your blog views, your blog belongs to YOU and if your words offend anyone, they can move on! Your posts are always uplifting and inspiring! I may not comment all the time but I read all the time, and I admire your spirit!

I pray that The Holy spirit corrects their heart in knowing that they are offended because of their own guilt!! You keep writing because everything you write is a blessing for me and a being a mature Godly woman that I am I receive everything you write as teaching that is God inspired!!! Love you so much ;)
