Working Nine to Five....

Happy Friday morning to each of you....I am so thankful that our lives have been weaved together through this thing we call blogging.....

I guess I should have told you that we love to celebrate birthdays!  I promise this is the last you will have to hear about mine....at least for this year..   My lovely family took me to
"Bruno's" pizza and I loved it.  My third set of kids, (our pastor and his lovely family) came and celebated with us....

I can't believe it....I blew out all ?? candles in one breath!

Tons of Fun!!

I have been one busy lady this week...
Kinda like working nine to five.....

I continued working on my list ....you know, the one that I was suppose to be doing at the beginning of the summer.

I emptied my store room...the one that is right here inside of the house.  This meant that organization was about to take place.....Sam went and purchased me some super, extra sturdy shelving for this room......Woo Hoo, everything will have it's own place!

I seperated everything and labeled it all.....all of my seasonal decorations have their own spot....Not only that, but I now have special boxes for each holiday or event.

Why have I waited so long to do this?

Going through all the Fall stuff, made me want to get it out and re-decorate my house....Like right then!

(Borrowed)

I then had to remind myself that I have to wait until after
Labor Day....

I then cleaned and re-arranged the big cabinets in our family room......I sorted through hundreds of books, dishes, videos, and numerous other items that I have accumulated these past few years.

I now feel great.....a few aches here and there, but nothing that a heating pad or ice pack won't cure.....

Geez.....I love having our home in order.

Hugs, hugs, and more hugs....

Praying for the East Coast....Praying for a wall of protection to keep everyone safe, along with property, animals, and valuables.....

  4. I love getting everything in order, cleaning out cabinets and drawers and such. It relaxes me and calms me down. And I think I have more things to decorate for fall then even Christmas! Yes, I have been wanting to put them out, too, but must wait...we don't want to wish time away.

  5. Hi Shug!

I need to catch that organizing bug! It seems like I always have good intentions, but somehow they get left by the wayside!

I can't believe that it is almost time to start putting up fall decorations! I guess I better go find mine! Maybe this would be a good time to organize!?

I am also thinking and praying for those on the east coast - many good thoughts go out to them today!

    Hugs,
    Barb

Having our homes organized is the best feeling! They do have a tendency to get cluttered over time. Congratulations!

  8. G'day Shug, You have been a busy bee. Well done on crossing off the items on your to do list. By the way, do you know you have advertisements showing up in your blog on Google Reader? They confused me when I went to write my comment. Anyway, I got there in the end. LOL. Have a great weekend. All God's Best, Kerrie
