This Unique Gift

Hugs to all of you on this magnificent Sunday!

Praise the Lord, WE GOT RAIN!

Yes...last night, just out of the blue....it rained!

It wasn't a slow soaking rain, but it was rain....

This bright, new day, complete with 24 hours of opportunities, choices, and attitudes comes with a perfectly matched set of 1,440 minutes.  This unique gift, this one day, cannot be exchanged, replaced, or refunded.  We need to handle it with care....We need to make the most of it.......

I want you to know that.......

There is truly an inexpressible joy for me to open this day to whatever God places in front of me.  Hope floods my heart with gladness as I reflect upon the canopy of Blessings that will be mine today....

  4. When we had beautiful summer rains, I'd let the kids go outside to dance in the rain! So much fun - I never got to do that when young - and now I'm not so sure I wouldn't fall and break my hip, lol! Glad for you! Enjoy the rain and the wonderful fragrance afterwards!

  8. That is so true. We have to learn to make the best of even the storm. Oh how envious I am of the rain you got. We will not see rain for a while yet. Oct. is the earliest we ever get it and that can be rare. Love the first rain of the season.
