Take Every Chance

This is Monday morning......Right?  I had such a wonderful day with my sweet husband yesterday, that I didn't really want the day to end.....

I think I must have dreamed all night that I would be waking up to another fun filled day like the one we shared on Sunday....

Ok.....I will admit that we did skip church....(My heart still Praised the Lord).... I guess we kinda took what I would call a one day vacation to prepare for our
VACATION starting this Friday.....did you read what I wrote?   Vacation starting Friday!!!!  Woo, Hoo....

(Sam...making a purchase....an antique heater)

Sam and I just spent the day doing some antiquing and then drove like a hundred miles to see a movie!
I know it sounds crazy, but the movie was no longer showing in our area and Sam really wanted to see it...
                       (Larry Crowne)

It was a "Way Too Hot" kinda day anyways...so why not?  Why not do what you want to do?  This is a privilege you have when you reach the age of (49)?

So.....I say to you today, spend time with the one you love....

Take every chance you have.....

To enjoy each others company.....To just sit back and relax.... share your dreams with one another.... give to one another....Express Hope.....laugh.....have Fun with one another.....spend good quality time with each other....and to experience the love that each has to give...

Our thoughts were....."Even the stuff that HAS to get done, doesn't have to get done Today"

And this is how we justified a simple day of Vacation!

Sweet Blessings Dear Friends!

  5. Ken and I are fans of just "taking the day" to have fun. It is a good way to regroup and refresh yourself.

  6. You do that as often as you like - before it's no longer possible! I work with seniors - have seen too many who wished they had taken the time when they had it! Blessings1

  9. Sounds like a lovely day. We saw Crazy, Stupid Love on Sat. night - first movie we've seen in a looong time. I really liked it. Not a great movie, but different. Kinda quirky.

  16. Shug, I really needed to read this. Lately it seems that I never take a day to just enjoy the husband and leisurely amble. Your day looks like it was wonderful.
