Good Morning Saturday...Good Morning Friends!

Want to show you some new things that are out at the farm....

I love living in TEXAS...

It's what I call the "GOOD LIFE"

There are now three young

longhorns ruling the farm.

Did you know that you have to feed

the other cows in a different area

from these LONGhorns?  Seems that

when it comes to feeding, the

longhorn cattle know how to twist

their heads back and forth,

forcefully pushing their horns

into anything that gets in their

way......This can be dangerous

for the other cattle!

Even the donkeys.....(who are mean enough to fight off coyotes)....get out of the way when it comes to feeding
with the Longhorns....

There are four donkeys out at the farm and a new baby donkey coming soon!  One of the donkeys loves to eat
bread out of your hand.......This is something you want
to do very carefully!

And....you gotta love these cute little things!

I enjoy watching the calves as they cling to their
mother and occasionally dart off in such a playful
manner....

I am definitely one happy person at

the FARM!  Longhorns...donkeys...

cows....nature....and PEACE!

Such a lovely place......

Have a Blessed Weekend....Hugs to each of you!

  3. What is this farm? Is it a friend of yours? I love that first picture of the longhorn! Interesting to me that the color pattern on his hide is repeated on the horns!
