The Warning is that we should never feel so self-important, superior, or exclusive that we will not stoop to bear the heavy load of others.

A burden is a load that weights us down..

There are many Christian men and women who wake up every day and the first thing they do is to put on a mask!  This mask is to disguise the misery on the face that is hidden behind it.

How humiliating it would be for other people to know that our lives are not perfect.  A lot of times I think that we try to fool ourselves by believing that if we wear the mask, no one will see and things will get better.

Did you know that we as Christians are not immune to stress.  We are not immune to all the heavy loads of pressure that is out there in this world.  It is so very important for us to be honest with ourselves and with the people that are around us.  Without true honesty, the mask becomes forever embedded in us and our burdens have no way of escaping.

As a community of believers, we are to work together to face life's many challenges and to help carry the burden of these situations that overwhelm us.

One way that we can do this is if we will collectively pour our hearts out to God.  This is referred to as intercessory prayer.
Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others.  Did you know that it is God's desire that every believer be active in intercessory prayer.

What a wonderful and exalted privilege we have in being able to come boldly before the throne of God with our prayers and request.

My heart is filled with the desire to help others.  I consider it my Christian duty to help people by carrying their burdens to the Lord.  My physical strength is not all that great, but my prayer life is very fit.......

“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself” (Galatians 6:3).

The warning is that we should never feel so self-important, superior, or exclusive that we will not stoop to bear the heavy load of others.

Shug Sez........

May you be filled with the joy of the Lord and may your day be filled with Blessings!!
