Need My Wings....

Hey Ya'll.....Oh what a night!   We had a bad lightning storm roll through around 7:00 P.M. yesterday and Praise the Lord, we didn't lose our power.  Yea!  But....we lost the air conditioner!

Oh my...that is not a good thing for me, NO...not at all!
I am Hot natured and I really prefer for it to  be very cool when I sleep. (Like 70 degrees or lower)    Oh well...maybe it will get fixed today!

********************

Mylee and I had lots and lots of fun yesterday....We spent a couple of hours at Toys R Us.....

She had so much fun and I can honestly tell you that I did too.  Ms. Mylee Jo,  rode every toy that could be rode in her size.   She danced and twirled and turned around and around as the hula hoop kept dropping to the floor.  She would pick it up and start again (at least 50 times.)  I think she bounced almost every ball in the store and even did a little shopping for a new stroller.

There was a bright Lime Green... umbrella stroller that had a cup holder attached.  What a perfect place for her sippy cup...She said, "Sugar, dat mine...I can have it?"

We shopped and shopped and walked every square inch of that store and then we came to the isle full of books.  Oh my...another Dora book!

Can you believe right there on the shelf was exactly what this spunky two and a half year old angel had been looking for?  Take a peep.  Is there anything about Dora that looks different to you?  It seems that she has sprouted herself some wings.  What a cute Halloween costume she is now wearing....

I can't imagine this story going in other direction than the one I am fixing to tell you about...."If Dora has wings....then Mylee needs wings"  She wanted to fly like a bird the way Dora does....    "Need My Wings"  those were her exact words.

We spent the next twenty minutes looking for wings......

And sure enough...we found them....

Check out her hair....the wings came with two little butterfly  hair bows that she needed in her hair (even if we didn't have a brush....)  She was one happy little girl...Dora had wings and now she did too....

Would it surprise you if I told you that I had a fantastic day?

Shug Sez......

Thank you Lord for giving me this incredible life....Thank you for giving me this precious grandchild and Thank you for the memories that were made.....

  1. How precious! It's funny what their little minds come up with..."If Dora has wings, Mylee needs wings!" What a lucky grandmother you are to get to spend your days with such a sweet little princess, or should I say little fairy? :)
